Are you kidding? You really think they had the upper hand in this game when kassadin was just ramping up and pretty much just getting to a point where he could one destroy any split pusher? C9 were hoping for a miraculous fuck up on the side of NJWS and getting some sort of base trade scenario. After they got inhibitor and nexus turret, it was their game, it gives incredible amount of pressure to NJWS, so they could just recover their gold deficit. But instead they continued to dive for those inhibitors, suffering more, more and more casualties instead of slowing this game a bit, gold deficit wasn't that big to excuse bunch of Hai and Sneaky hail marys. They'd never have won straight-up. They had Hai on non-Zed, remember? Even worse, he was behind, and on Talon of all champions. They had to keep split-pushing anyway.

Yesterday I was like meh C9 is over they have to beat Najin and THEN win some sort of tiebreaker against A to advance....
They A lost to BR and C9 wwon against Najin..... And they play Blue in brackets... TSM is already dead, but C9 got a tiny shot at making semis.
OK I think it was pretty amazing that C9 even made it out of the group. Unlike TSM, C9 was facing some actual challenges.

ADC Ashe arrow into Jungle Pantheon/Nocturn ult into Top Glanplank ult into Mid Kathrus reqiuem/TF ult. Skip the jungle ult if the target is too deep in enemy territory.
True Global Strat the Dream.
Edit: can swap Ashe out for any of the other global-ult-ADCs, but I like her for her risk-free stun to set things up like AA in DK's comp does.

I feel like season 2 TSM did comps like that before

Karthus/Nocturne and Shen was their go to comp.

TSM was famous for their Shen, Nocturne, TF team comps even as late as last season. They never used Revive in them, though.
EDIT: Oh yeah, Karthus in place of TF as well.

ayy lmao can we just appreciate how good these last two groups were? So many highlights... we have Deft crying because Blue lost to fnatic, Rekkles crying after that ridiculous 70 minute game which came down to one auto attack, Xpeke's outplay vs. dade and then later that trade kill between the two, Kabum's win vs. Alliance, C9's win vs. Shield and then later the tiebreaker match where they almost won by splitpushing with a 5k+ gold deficit... this group stage has been better than basically all of last year's worlds combined.

Tbh SKT K made worlds boring last year "Oh look, another team got curb stomped in 20 by them". Fnatic vs Royal was legit, NJBS vs gambit, group B and C9 vs fnatic were fun (even if C9 vs FNC ended anti-climaticly)

S3 was pretty entertaining; it just had a boring stompy finals. Let's see if you'll hold the same sentiment if(when) SSW crushes their bracket and the final in the same way SKT did.
The lack of byes certainly does make S4 the better tournament, but you're selling S3 a little short here.
P.S. SSW get rid of your team-kill curse before the semis pls.

Keeping splitpushing and hail mary diving inhibitors is slightly different thing, to say the least.
Anyway, now people will say that C9 might probably have a shot against Blue, meh. Blue typically drop a game though, only time they won 3-0 in last 2 OGN season was against Stealths and Stealths, to say the least, should won at least 1 game there, if dade didn't carry Blue alone.
That said, only team to beat Blue in current roster in bo5 is KT A and this final is better to be forgotten asap.

PawN will choke, DanDy and imp will throw, Mata will cry a river because his team is worse than Blue. 1-3, as usual.

C9 YEEEEESS!!
Thank you and God bless Brazil!

Wow I am watching this Kabum vs Alliance right now...
Now THAT look matchfixed. Alliance either did not want to win, or thought that they could win despite being 4 towers behind.

Sneaky looked a lot weaker than Hai or Lemonation today, and for most of the group stages. Some of his target choices were very questionable.

Also, the funny thing about Wickd is that he is their strongest player when given Irelia, and their weakest when off of Irelia. Soaz, I think, is more disappointing than Wickd. For someone who was so touted for having a deep champion pool, and being excellent on AP champs, he sure didn't show it. But then again, I've never thought Soaz was anything special, so I may be biased.
