I'm not sure why it's like that(my thought has always been that it is a sort of protection against potential issues of latency interacting with recall), but it's been that way for a long ass time, if not always(Neo or other players from the beta can confirm from even earlier than I can, but I started playing just after official release).

I did, but Nick Allen fined me for $ 5000.

It's always felt like you get some weird immortality in the waning tenths of a second of a recall, even landing CCs let alone just some damage doesn't cancel it at that point. Recall has always been like this, I saw someone link a Red post that it's gonna go through no matter what in the last .25 seconds. The real issue comes from the fact Kha has just been damaged and his Homeguards shouldn't have proced and soaz could have gotten at least one more auto off on the Nexus. There was debate over whether or not Maw's shield prevented him from taking damage but Reddit detectives figured out he actually did take damage and then proved the "homeguard bug" even occurred for standard autoattacks.

Only impact was if Rumble tried to kill Kha'Zix. He didn't, so the 200 or so HP healed by Homeguard don't even matter.

I'm hoping C9 will force the tiebreaker, but it seems really unlikely. I didn't see the Alliance/Shield game so idk what exactly happened, but I guarantee that Shield isnt going to play that badly against C9. NA just doesn't win vs. KR, just like EU doesnt win against CN.

The MS buff doesn't matter, the Rumble ult doesn't matter, he used his MS-independant mobility spell to reach Rumble who had stopped the MS buff with his ult. Now that I read all the related stuff, it's clear that Fnatic should be allowed to ask for a remake. Riot's only excuse could be that it's a very long lived bug, but at the end of the day, it's still one. Nowhere it is stated that this recall interaction is a deliberate feature, it's just what we got used to so we don't question it. But Nick Allen is useless, and only good for making meme's about him, so whatever.

With all these crazy results I want to see the winners come out in tie-breakers to settle it all. Also props to EU with all the games they've been taking off the koreans. super impressive. If NA goes another tournament without beating a Korean team imma say EU>NA definitively. also teams, pls ban Irelia/Lee from Alliance. EU is also 0-4 vs. China while NA is 2-1 vs. China... saying that EU > NA is a pretty big stretch when they went even otherwise. EU teams can beat KR teams though, while NA can't.

But from a marketing standpoint, they should definitely avoid remaking, because that would be much bigger news than not remaking. No remake? Who cares, Fnatic denied a very possible win, but they could've won anyway if they were smarter so let's just pretend it's no biggie, even though it is. Remake. OH MY FUC... RIOT LOVES WESTERN REG.... IT'S A CONSPIRA... yada yada Yeah, no one needs the drama.

Like, it doesn't mean shit, yes, props to both, you won bo1 against Blue who were celebrating their 6-0 before the game and against Shield who were 4-0 and already through. Does it change anything with bo5s? No. Only real difference is that [A] don't seem to choke on stage anymore after Day 1, so their series with Blue might go for more than 3 games.

So he gets about 700, but he definitely doesn't drop below that fighting Soaz so it still didn't matter(he heals to full right after, so you can't say that he would've been easily dispatched by Xpeke/Cyanide after). The only possible argument is that if he had less health, MAYBE Soaz decides to just try to fight him directly instead and wins, leaving only Gogoing to defend against Xpeke/Cyanide, but now that is so many incredible 'what ifs' that it is insane to declare a rematch.

Still having perfect game vs top 3 KR after how badly western world got stomped by K and Bullets this year is huge. Also you need to remember that Alliance throw first game super hard.

Well, if [A] can't take games from arguably, in those conditions, 5th-6th Korean team at best, then we're really in trouble, not taking anything from Froggen and Co ofc. Like, literally, Shield got carried to Worlds by watch and Zefa and watch doesn't perform at all at Worlds, what can you expect.
