Unfounded matchfixing accusations are not welcome. Refrain from making off-the-wall accusations without concrete evidence. |

Why does Alliance have to start their group by playing C9+NJWS 2 times in a row on Purple side?
Why does SSB have to play their first three games in a row all on Blue side?

Those are pretty big advantages/disadvantages given for no real reason Random draws are random. Definitely not; for one - scheduling is such that every team has to play at least one game a day but no more than 2 a day. You can have random draws and still enforce that. Just like you can have random draws while seeding teams.

Blue side 22/31 70% win rate. Pretty crazy.

Blue still most likely to advance I think but after that it's either LMQ or Fnatic most likely dependent entirely on how Fnatic plays. I think fnatic is somewhat unlikely, they've shown poor performances against everyone except for their SSB game. I think it'll be OMG or LMQ depending on which OMG shows up.
The problem with OMG is that they have no advantage in the group. Fnatic has the advantage of taking a game off Blue and LMQ has the advantage of going 2-1 in the first round of games.
If LMQ wins just one more game in the second round they're practically guaranteed at least a tie breaker unless Blue drops another game and Fnatic or OMG go 3-0. Pretty unlikely.
If we assume that Blue is nearly guaranteed to beat OMG/LMQ once more than those two teams already have another loss. OMG's best chance of getting out of groups is either upsetting Blue or going 3-3 and forcing a tie breaker.
Obviously though it's truly anyone's group but I think OMG is the least likely to get out. They have to play flawlessly for the next three games. Of course LMQ and Fnatic could both go 0-3 in the next round of games and then OMG will just advance but I don't think that's very likely either.

Which is yet another reason FNC > SSB is the upset of the tournament so far. FNC was red side that game. WTF.

C9 advance because they have the same score in groups but C9 has the head-to-head advantage.

Damn that C9 game. Oh well, I'm more concerned about C9-ALL game 2 more than anything. Worry about dem koreans after securing at least 2nd spot.

On one hand I want ALL to get 2nd because they looked better vs NJWS, on the other hand they looked really bad vs C9.
I'll probably be ok with whoever wins the second matchup between those two.
I do want at least one EU team to make it out of groups.

Alliance plays on blue side both games, so they have huge advantage. Still Alliance looks like shit with 3 players not performing at all.

Btw, I felt sad because of the attendance. Apparently, the cheapest seating was sold out, but there was more than half of the seats empty today. This is because all attendees are able to claim the reward of a full set of TPA/SKTT1 skins for free (with the champions for free too) and this bundle easily costs $50+. Getting it for $25 (cheapest seating) is definitely a steal, but it denied lots of space for people who actually wanted to watch the matches.

Disgraceful.
Like good pennypinching Asians they should have then sold the seating for even more profit.

And it was real easy to cheap off the tickets LOL. They never enforced any rules, anyone with the scrap of ticket (they tore off half of it to prove your entrance) can enter. Theoretically, you could bring a friend along, take his ticket when youre inside and sneak another friend into the venue.
Also, I conveniently relocated my seat to the most expensive seating after people left. I am a pennypinching Asian.
