CLG's comp did him no favors, but Mercs + Triforce is not an adequate defensive loadout versus a double AP comp, especially one where Ryze pretty much ran all over top lane.To be honest a bit of health would have helped heca but rune prison basically shuts him down.

I'm willing to give Seraph one more season but they need major changes. At the very least replace Link, if a good import shows up replace dexter for him. I think in reg season dexter wasn't as bad as link or seraph though so replacing those two probably more ideal.

right? maybe not. i also think if you have to play versus CLG and dont have a strong botlane, it might be a good idea to let you mid pick up zed.

This is right as long as CLG doesnt get rid of Dexter and Seraph. They will probably do so though imo. But yeah, finding good new players is way harder than kicking the old ones. For me CLG is still a candidate for picking up 2 Koreans for next season, although I dont know if they still have money in the bank.

Riot has stated that it's possible for an import to become a resident. If it's something along the lines of having to live in NA for a year or multiple splits, Dexter may no longer be considered an import.

They need to get a good coach, buckle down, and become a team instead of a group of players that just happen to be on the same side of the map. They have the individual skill but they don't pick/ban well. They don't have a leader (and if it was d-lift would they respect him?) and they don't have a coherent strategy to use their talent. "get doublelfit fed and he will carry doesn't" work when the enemy team can just focus doublelift and its too obvious and easy to counter.
