He picked it in the 2nd rotation, knowing about the Ziggs pick, and having Morg, Nami, and Zyra ALL open. And they picked Kog, so Lucian was open as well. Volibear is worthless into that comp, and I highly doubt it's TSM as a team saying "you gotta pick Volibear here!" Amazing hasn't looked good even on Lee, so it's not the champion that's being called out, it's more about his overall preparedness and skill.
Lucian was banned. Honestly, Amazing could go for Master Yi and he would have more impact than he did.
Meanwhile, Elementz and Co are stomping team with NyJacky on the bench. LIQUID122, WHERE ARE YOU?

Maybe I'll pay more attention next week, split the award again for separate regions or delay it until next week's LR and actually sit through those games or wait until someone makes highlights. Altough I disagree that a winner shouldn't be able to receive MWP. After all Westrice got carried to LCS
Uh oh, what a burn :D.

Oh that's right, they last banned Lucian instead of Lee...hah

This game though, lmao. LOD and Heaventime are just trying to carry Hoodstomp harder than EvanRL and dawolfsclaw can throw. It's like in this joke when some team "throws so hard that game just makes full circle around the Earth and comes back".
I still think, that if TBD didn't throw Heaventime for Brokenshard, they would have qualified over EG last split.
Nice throw, Elementz! :D Fuck it, 5 am and i have exams in the morning. G'night, thread. :3 <3

Oh wow, the end of that challenger match.

Damn, these teamfights. That defense to stall for Trundle. So much work. The chase with LOD defending the last nexus tower. And I was rooting for them too, so fuck yeah! I'd stay up to watch the rest of the series but I gotta work tomorrow.

How did PRO win the first game? Last time I checked AOE was winning... so I went to play a game. What happened? NALCS level of throw?

Managed to get a 4 for 1 (Ziggs survived for AOE, Kha died for PRO) defending their inhib with a few Kha resets & a big Crescendo; Trundle chased Ziggs all the way back to AOE's base while the rest of their team ran down mid and took inhib tower/inhib and got the nexus down by the time AOE's support respawned.

They don't ban lee because they're like "boy I fucking hope we can get one of the junglers Amazing can play" even though it's fucking obvious they're targetting bans at him so they can pick lee sin themselves. If that happens your only hope is to leave kassadin unbanned and try to exchange op picks but giving up kassadin for lee sin is just retarded.

I think DIG > C9 >LMQ ~ CLG > TSM > Curse > EG > COL from how things look so far?

So by tweeing that, is he trying to help TSM or show off how incredibly analytical and brilliant he is at LoL? Seriously needs to stfu.

He's an analyst, that's what people follow him for, no reason to get salty about it. I know TL as a collective has soured recently on his opinion but people are getting way too upset about it.
|
people pay him to analyze for TSM?

Wtf? He's a big LoL personality and people follow him on Twitter to hear his opinions on things. Just because you don't agree with him doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to tweet things that a lot of people want to read.
|
if i'm paid to coach the knicks, I probably won't tell the media what the celtics are doing wrong. I think that's like common sense idk.
|
when did I say I agree/disagree with him? I think he's retarded for sending out those tweets that point out the mistakes of other teams. Shows he has no common sense of what his job entails and he probably likes attention a little too much.
|
thats the first thing I thought when i read it too. Its not like this guy is a broadcaster/announcer or something. he has a vested interest in TSM's biggest rival and he is giving them help. Just dumb

That parallel doesn't work. Monte isn't only the coach of the Knicks, but he's also Bill Simmons. You can disagree on a fundamental level which is more important, but if LoL fans have proven anything it's that they value personality very highly.
Edit: Also he was a personality before he was a coach so the attention also does play a role in it.
|
Then there's a clear conflict of interest and he should probably only do one or the other, the fact this wasn't made clear by CLG or he isn't aware there is a conflict, is ridiculously devoid of common sense at every level. I think all of his analysis is useless anyway but I didn't know he's legitimately dumb.

Personality, fan base, attention, etc (whatever you want to call it) is how people keep their jobs in esports.
