Just a basic example, individual players on Alliance are probably stronger than on Roccat. As a team Roccat is way stronger than Alliance though.
I don't get what that has to do with the All Star game? Are you implying all star game is a solo queue game? cuz it clearly isn't. NA players all took their time to have a training camp for like 2 weeks to prep for it, it's not like there wasn't time for players to prep.

Every single national team is an allstar team. They aren't in their own club teams. Olympics are all-star teams as well. National teams are ENTIRELY all-star teams and nothing else. Ok I will explain this as slowly as I can.
The accurate comparison here would be voting for 11 players from all other Europe and let them play against 11 players from South America without having these players play together ever before or ever again. And the we would probably end up with SA getting way more world cup spots than EU, although EU has way more competent national teams (simply because it is more countries though).
For a very good and fair system to distribute spots, look at how UEFA does it for the European cups. Doing this with an allstar game with players selected by popular vote from the respective leagues instead would be just ridiculous.

fan voted or not, it was made clear that this event was meant to be serious, if you're part of a region where fans vote for shitty players, that's not problem with the event. that has to do with shitty fans. Also, if it wasn't fan voted, and teams were made by a singular person or small group of people, it would received even worse by the community.
