Still, it was a great performance from SKT otherwise. I don't even really remember how game 2 snowballed, but SKT's 2v1 is the best in the world. They always somehow get a gold lead from the early game in that situation. Their 2v2 lane is just as stupidly dangerous. They could play standard lanes if they wanted, and still come out just as ahead. Only problem is the games would run like 30 minutes instead of like 20, cuz longer laning phase with standard lane setup. lol.

I don't know if that plan will work, I do know it worked against most Non-C9 Kassadins in NA (and worked against Peke in EU during the season), and the constant pressure means Kass shouldn't get to power up without losing objectives. I just feel like there needs to be a different strategy than "pick a champ that is slightly better in lane".

SKT's Kassadin just seemed completely fucked mid-late game. Although I don't remember the specifics of the game, so maybe they just got outplayed earlier on and it wasn't just due to their comp.

Nid should still be beating Kass, especially if Nid is running hybrid pen reds. there's no reason for a Kass to be equal pre-6 to a nid.

Riven isn't a kass counter either. her combo charges E for free and silences really hurt riven

The main problem was we didn't even see pawn try to auto attack harass faker in lane. Gave faker way too much lee way in lane as kass.

Use that 2v1 to dominate the jungle, set Kass and the jungler way behind. And just keep up pressure constantly on the midlane (only rotate to take the outer towers when you have them almost guaranteed). I just feel like there needs to be a different strategy than "pick a champ that is slightly better in lane". I don't remember what game it was, but there was a game during OGN Summer where a team went 2v1 against Faker on Kassadin Mid and he still out farmed the enemy solo laner (they were in the 2v1 too, but they were on a champ that should have been able to farm easier than Kass)

You just need to pick a champ that can be priority #3, like a Gragas, Rumble, Vlad, Kennen, Lissandra. Im not saying its gonna work, but the current plan never does.
