Their comp in game one was enough to make me a fan for sure, but then god dammit they get aced level 1 right after I type that I was a fan. Honestly the CloudTemplar game was funny, I've seen teams from all sports throw games on purpose, at least these guys did it with class instead of doing it for money.

No official word just yet, but judging from last year the answer is almost certainly no. They skipped all of the preseason patches for champions Winter last year and kept playing on the last patch of season 2 until well after xmas. To be honest I am not even sure if they will change to the preseason patch for the playoffs, one might argue that playing the entire tournament on the same patch would be more consistent.

I thought I remembered a lot of ogn games on the preseason patch though, isn't that where "curse of the sad bulletstorm" was coined? Might just be me misremembering it though, if they really did wait that long. Would be disappointing if they don't switch soon, I've been looking forward to seeing how the koreans handle the new patch for a while now ![]()

I think they remained a few patches behind for a long time. Heck they always patched slower than the LCS, one of the complaints for worlds was that the Korean and chinese teams only had a few weeks to get used to the worlds balance patch instead of 5 weeks EU and NA had it. For that matter i am not even sure if 3.14 is already live on the KR server. Anyway, take my words with a grain of salt but I'd be willing to bet that we will not see the preseason patches for at least a month in Korean play.

the 1/11/5 ashe in the game is a solo queue player. didn't watch the entire thing, but it seems the embedded video is him going on an extended rant while commentating ogn, flaming madlife for leaving him and roaming after a poor level 1 fight. he makes himself look like the victim of madlife trolling and flaming, but the appended game scoreboard and chat (the replay is also posted) show madlife, while he did roam, playing a decent game given the circumstances (and not saying a word in all chat) while the ashe plays horrendously. the other three purple players call him a troll in all chat and apparently he gets a report warning after the game. comment section is full of internet justice as people call the ashe all the names he called madlife in the video. lots of 'wtf is that build' basically madlife is god and should not be trifled with

After that, I think they will go to a preseason patch, most likely the one that got patched in today, with hotfixes/minor patches applied.
