I don't mind some troll picks, because it can be fun to see how weird comps work out. This one was just silly.

they're out. they have no chance of advancing anymore, esp. after what they just pulled. i hope they don't come out and troll in their last games too. there's money on the line for best kda and mvp at the end of the season.

Team Dark isn't a professional team. They are an amateur team who won OGN qualifiers. Point invalid sorry!

Teams that are guaranteed to go out of OGN tend to screw around and do stupid things for their remaining matches, in this case it was a trbiute to cloudtemplar

so amateur teams are exempt from acting professional in a professional tournament? its one thing to do "troll" picks and still try to win and play a real game but what dark did was not that

It was pretty funny. Kinda pisses me off a bit though that these guys got into OGN over KTA, Xenics, or Team OP.
The road isn't always straight.

no relation probably just trolling because ct recently became ogn announcer, and most of these amateur team's goals are to get in ogn and thats it. they don't practice or take it seriously especially one that has solo q trolls like savila who is a known troll/bm player in korean community. It wouldn't have went any differently with or without apdo who is considered a korean solo q god, but plls, choup, savila are all just that, solo q gods, and nothing more.

I don't see how they were out after losing the first game; if they had managed a draw against Ozone and Shield had been upset by Arena, they would still have had a chance, no? I understand that was an extremely unlikely chain of events but I think it's really inappropriate to throw a game while you still have a mathematical chance of qualifying.

Looking back it's a bit regrettable the way the qualifier groups came together, with Team DK and Team NB having to face amateur teams to qualify while KT, IM, Xenics Blast, Alienware all had to knock eachother out.

They still could have shown some respect for the integrity of the competition. Furthermore, it seemed stupid on their part to throw away an opportunity for an amateur team to gain match experience at the highest level.

Unless they signed a contract with OnGameNet saying they can't do things like this then I don't really see a problem.

I mean Dark is essentially a group of street basketball players who got invited to play against the Los Angeles Lakers. They aren't an actual NBA team at the end of the day they are still only a bunch of dudes who were really good, not really a professional team.

If you want to blame anyone for this then blame OnGameNet that this happened. Not Team Dark lmao seriously

Even if Team Dark didn't have a chance to qualify, they're simply put into a bad light to every single possible sponsor they might have been able to get if they played even remotely seriously. AND it's a big "FUCK YOU" to every single team they beat to get to OGN Group stages. AND a big fuck you to every single team they DIDN'T beat that couldn't get the chance to play on the big stage this season. What fucking clowns.

A huge wall of sponsors actually. Yet I too wonder how that team will continue. They seem a lot less cut throat than other KeSPA teams (with SKT probably leading the pack), but at some point I'm sure they will get fed up.
