Is the site of the ticket seller working for you guys, btw? Couldn't buy a ticket if I wanted to. 11 PM on a Friday, and two teams casual fans probably don't care that much about. I get that they did it so that it would be during an easy time for KR viewers, but still ![]()

lets be hoest, watching league is a timefiller for most and not a major way of entertainment.

Btw I don't seem to understand how you can be "honest" about something that seems extremely hard to attest with actual data. :o Like, I understand that the vast majority of eSports fans only tune in for the really big matches, that's how it has to be with everything (or else standard LCS matches would have the same viewer numbers of the finals ![]()

If the website isn't working then it's not working. *shrug* I'm not a big fan of the discrepancy of the start times even if it's a Friday/Saturday or they want to be more friendly to audiences in different hemispheres either. skt 3-0 NJBS and Royal 3-0 Fnatic is the thread "Who you got?" After seeing the quarterfinals, I still stand by those predictions. NJBS is a shaky team that had trouble beating Gambit. Their mid laner is weak. Skt will roll them. The best chinese teams are on par with the best korean teams. Fnatic stands no chance at all vs Royal. Fnatic definitely are the underdogs.

Out of the 5 or so friends i have that are 'extreme' enough to go to live LoL events, 4/5 have work past/get off at around ~8PM. Teenagers typically have jobs that serves other teenagers, therefore someone has to be at work while others are enjoying SoCal's legendary nighttime activities, so Riot's "targeted demographics" are either at work, getting off work, or is enjoying their first day off of work. Basically, don't host 'sporting' event on Friday Nights in SoCal. Fun fact: a premier Lakers game (when they play versus a POPULAR team) will NEVER be hosted on a Friday Night. (shitty games could still be on Friday, but will not be broadcast nationwide) Broadcasting companies in USA have already figured out the 3-4 most popular broadcasting schedule for premier level games/sports: Thurs (Football/Basketball), Sat (College Football/Basketball), and Sunday (Football/Basketball). You will see all premier-level sporting event/games hosted on those 2-3 days because after years of experience they know event on Friday don't pull that many people (yes it will still pull SOME, but not comparable to Sat/Sun). edit: S3 finals (on Friday) will sellout no matter what day or time it is. Even if that shit was Tuesday at 9AM it would still sell out. Non-Socal/LA natives are also exception edit: playoffs basketball is also an exception because of scheduling conflicts with other games.
