I don't think one of them is so much better than the other two that variance in games would still keep him ahead.
The 3 of them are excellent, none are outclassing the other directly.

piglet imp score all have very different playstyles and champ pools respectively, score is probably the best ezreal amongst those 3 while piglet and imp are both very proficient at caitlyn. imp has the more gutsy and instinctive vayne with a very fierce aggression, while piglet's seems more calculated with its aggression and better defensive play as a whole.

my personal opinion is that piglet is probably the premiere korean adc right now given his wider champion pool (and as evidenced by his really fast pick up of corki) as allowed by his more holistic playstyle

I disagree personally. I think imp is still the best. He has solid laning, mechanics, team fighting and last hitting. However, his inability to play corki well really played against him this tournament. But yeah, it's hard to look like a good adc when your team is losing so much.

The problem with this kind of argument though is that the teams that madlife/shy/flame are on....they aren't as good as these teams anymore. That's kind of how things are. It's kind of how I have to deal with the fact that WE just...start dying in the last split of LPL.

While, I would've agreed with you full-heartedly before worlds, after Ozone's showing... debatable.

I honestly think Blaze and Frost could've and would've performed better than Ozone. Not saying they would've advanced into play-offs, but they would've put up a better showing.

I mean...yeah Ozone performed poorly. Obviously they came and they just dropped the ball, and maybe Blaze/Frost who have had more international experience might've done phenomenally better....but hindsight's always 20/20. Before we came in, everyone was expecting Ozone to absolutely demolish the competition and get 1st because they had dominated teams like Blaze and Frost.

Also, I think we still have a good Korean showing. SKT1 is still impressive, albeit a bit shaky at times with arrogant misplays. Najin Sword hopefully will perform well.

I think one of the big things that just surprised me is that EU put up a much better performance then expected and the NA scene shows glimmer of brilliance followed by the proof that mechanically and strategically they're just behind right now.

Yeah, that's right. I just picked Samsung to miss the bracket stage. Deal with it.

Haha gambit 8-0 how more wrong can you be. SKT 7-1 how wrong can you be. OMG 4-4 haha so wrong. Hilarious.

Wow, TL really takes predicting seriously to the level of inane rage as apparent to the response to his brilliant prediction.

Their tears fuel my delight.

How is picking Gambit and Fnatic to come out of Group B a brilliant prediction? Yes, Group B is more interesting because it's a more level playing field between the teams but Fnatic and Gambit (especially prior to last split) are as good as it gets from Europe. It falls into a similar vein when people say Alliance were going to do good at TI3.

You take everything in life way too seriously.

From one post you got all that? Please do tell me more about myself. I'm all ears.

Well that would make 2 posts now.

Btw your comparison is fail.

This is why we gave up prediction-bragging and moved onto greener pastures of fantasy leagues. Or so in theory.

They still have good plays in them individually but it's all about teams nowadays, no more starplayers. Or atleast alot less.

At the same time 4 of the 5 players on Fnatic were in the season ONE finals (2 in Fnatic, 2 in aaa). Pretty amazing how old school they are and that they are still able to be near the top.

Huh? How is picking Alliance to rickroll TI3 any different?

? alliance played in a chinese tournament before TI3 as did Navi and both won.

They did a lot more than just that. Yet you will still have people frown upon foreigner teams when it comes to such competitions hence making it bold to pick such teams when Gambit has plenty of experience and success. Not like this is their first dance at worlds. Look at Navi as well always making it to the Finals. Alliance had all the tools for success in that tournament yet people would still have you believe it was a bold choice even when the Alliance was smashing everyone prior months on end. Go figure.

The thing that can change now is TSM or LD earning $15K more

Actually doing some research instead of being lazy, I found out that the 3. position gets 15k more prize money. That's not insignificant, TSM and LD should still want to get the 3. place.

People hate being wrong, so they're pointing out the fact that the rest of my predictions are completely fail (which, to be fair, they are).
