Imp didn't really perform that well either... I wonder who really is Korea's top AD between piglet, Imp and Score. I don't think one of them is so much better than the other two that variance in games would still keep him ahead. The 3 of them are excellent, none are outclassing the other directly.

I think imp is still the best. He has solid laning, mechanics, team fighting and last hitting. However, his inability to play corki well really played against him this tournament. But yeah, it's hard to look like a good adc when your team is losing so much.

I honestly think Blaze and Frost could've and would've performed better than Ozone. Not saying they would've advanced into play-offs, but they would've put up a better showing. I mean...yeah Ozone performed poorly. Obviously they came and they just dropped the ball, and maybe Blaze/Frost who have had more international experience might've done phenomenally better....but hindsight's always 20/20. Before we came in, everyone was expecting Ozone to absolutely demolish the competition and get 1st because they had dominated teams like Blaze and Frost. Also, I think we still have a good Korean showing. SKT1 is still impressive, albeit a bit shaky at times with arrogant misplays. Najin Sword hopefully will perform well. I think one of the big things that just surprised me is that EU put up a much better performance then expected and the NA scene shows glimmer of brilliance followed by the proof that mechanically and strategically they're just behind right now.

They still have good plays in them individually but it's all about teams nowadays, no more starplayers. Or atleast alot less. At the same time 4 of the 5 players on Fnatic were in the season ONE finals (2 in Fnatic, 2 in aaa). Pretty amazing how old school they are and that they are still able to be near the top.

Yet you will still have people frown upon foreigner teams when it comes to such competitions hence making it bold to pick such teams when Gambit has plenty of experience and success. Not like this is their first dance at worlds. Look at Navi as well always making it to the Finals. Alliance had all the tools for success in that tournament yet people would still have you believe it was a bold choice even when the Alliance was smashing everyone prior months on end. Go figure.

Actually doing some research instead of being lazy, I found out that the 3. position gets 15k more prize money. That's not insignificant, TSM and LD should still want to get the 3. place.
