How is picking Gambit and Fnatic to come out of Group B a brilliant prediction? Yes, Group B is more interesting because it's a more level playing field between the teams but Fnatic and Gambit (especially prior to last split) are as good as it gets from Europe. It falls into a similar vein when people say Alliance were going to do good at TI3.

Looper had 0 experience, and 0 synergy with the team heading in. Looper had 2 good games on Singed, but besides those didn't seem all that special. His games on Zac and Shen were disappointing and Homme would've played better than him on those champs. At the end of the day Ozone brought this on themselves. The pick-ban phase was terrible. DanDy almost saved them with the greatest play of the tournament so far, but this was a terrible showing by Ozone. Homme must've really shit the bed in scrimmages, I just can't wrap my mind around any other reason why they would bench him and sacrifice team chemistry/leadership like that.

SKT T1 even had games were they were close in losing. so only stomps are good games? I find closer games more exciting even if they're more sloppy

It's interesting how Vulcun throwing the game against Gambit essentially kicked Dade off the team. You are insane if you think they would have kept dade by just making it into bracket stage lol

Its the coaches fault because they alone failed to realize that scrims do NOT mean everything.

I think the Koreans had a methodical playstyle that worked really well but may not have been the most interesting to watch. Some teams just take it really slow. I personally thought Vulcan games were pretty entertaining but of course painful at the same time.
