Don't worry, after the Fnatic vs Gambit finals, they're bound to mention them.:F
I guess it's a curse being better. When Fnatic and Gambit smashes Vulcun it's "expected", but when underperforming LD adds salt to their wounds by disrespecting TSM (which would be fine itself, but they went overboard), making their game an uphill battle from the start, and eventually lose, it's "big win!" for NA.
I don't see how is it stepping up. TSM did the same thing they always do: 0 chance againts serious contenders, looking great vs "meh" teams. And yeah, a not underperforming LD vs TSM would've been a great match, but sadly, the world stage was too much for LD to handle, I can't really blame them.
Vulcun getting a lot of hate, but at least in their matches there were times they actually looked pretty solid vs stronger contenders. No,they didn't step it up, because they still did stupid mistakes, but it looked promising for a while.
And it doesn't matter how C9 will fare. I wish them the best, I love how they gave the finger to the NA scene, and annihilated everything with their "new wave" power, while other teams are still carrying dead weights, but their performance won't have anything to do with NA rising.

He's right, let Fnatic do their thing so Gambit can settle this "throwing" thing by just stomping Ozone in the tiebreaker so no one will be mad.
Ozone used up their strategies already, they've got nothing left and they looked like shit every time they played standard, they ended up winning vs GG because of a lvl1 fail by Genja and an usual pick&ban throw by Gambit by firstpicking Elise and lastpicking Karthus into a double AD comp

Speaking of this thing where the audience can go "OMG NO DYRUS DON'T DO IT!"
If Riot doesn't want to do soundbooths, why not go back to that delay thing? Maybe set a 1 minute....2 minute? 30 second delay? Even if the players hear really loud "OOOH NO"s or whatever, it's not like the players will ever really know what they were referring to.
I guess at that point people are like "omg it's not really live" but...iono...just a solution I guess.

There's a lot more I'd like to see. For instance, re-vamp how they do the Wild Card; have more teams involved; provide more opportunities for the teams to play against other regions; etc. There's a lot more that I would change but I'd start with those first.

If Riot remains consistent with their quality of hosting world finals, then next year we'll have every team advanced to the playoffs, except Mineski and GGEU, who will play a best of 99. The winner of this advances, and the rest of the tournament won't be broadcasted. Instead we get these sketches:

Hopefully when they interview Royal before/after games they will use the translator they used for Allstars, I know he was a riot employee, I think it was Riot Chun who is in NA challenger

Really surprised Lovelin isn't having a huge following after all these games. I mean on TL we know his maniless but don't see anything about him elsewhere. The dude is the most interesting jungler I've watched in a long time. Plays a style that is so fun and exciting when compared to the majority of the other junglers. He also gives zero fucks. The jungle faker

Just needs a bit of time I think. Faker also just got his huge Western following after they won Champions and his plays filled the frontpage of reddit.

If there is no delay, then the crowd can spoil for the players. If there is a delay, then the players can spoil it for the crowd.
I know that at IPL5, they had a 1 minute delay going on, and whenever WE was playing, it was incredibly irritating, because they would get up and scream at the top of their lungs every time they won a fight (think Ocelot, but times 5 for all 5 players, and then times 1000 for volume). They were actually drowning out the casters. On screen, all you see is both teams setting up for a fight at Baron, but WE was already celebrating.
Riot likes having the player cams, so unless they have that on delay as well, the players will spoil fights. And even if they delay it for the stream, it still ruins it for the live watchers.
