It's not too much armor since they aren't on the same person. I think he was banking on the fact that LD can't afford to build any more armor than what they have ATM considering kennen/ahri threat.

They had a midgame timing where Corki was miles ahead of Tristana in terms of power (between Triforce and Triforce+LW, before Trist hits 3 items), but they lost it when OMG were able to trade 2 for 1 at the mid turret 4v4, after San got solo'd by nuketheduck top.

It was almost an even game, LD took a gamble, it failed, and OMG did a nice job snowballing from there. There wasn't a big enough lead to truly call it a throw. It's like saying a basketball team choked because they lost a 4 pt lead in the last 5 minutes.

I feel like they were still in the game for sure until that suicide mid inner dive by nukeduck. :/ too bad. On September 18 2013 12:16 Swords wrote: I don't like the term throw here. I think they tossed away the chance for an even match at the aforementioned dive.

Partially, however just having 1 major armor item is enough to make LW one of the premier damage boosters for an AD champ (general rule of thumb is >100 armor). The BT paid dividends during the siege though, as it allowed him to sustain up and maintain the pressure.
