Yeah VoDs are up almost immediatly and with the highest quality, at least on Twitch (can't talk about youtube, it's been shitting on me for several days, it's a toss-up whether a video will start or not even after refreshing 10 times), and the LoLeventsVoDs subreddit is right on the ball with them.
Gonna try Azubu's rewind tomorrow, if I manage to get up before the broadcast finishes (according to day 2's length, should be easy, 8 hours broadcast for 5 matchs wtf).
Edit: the Twitch VoD is available in 240p, 360p, 480p and "best" btw, so they didn't "kill" 480p.

You can grab high quality vods on leaguepedia easily anyway.

I think too many people are blaming individual players on Ozone for their lackluster performance thus far. There is a ton of criticism on Dade for picking Ryze and for his poor performance on Gragas and while he was obviously disappointing relative to expectations he was not the reason they lost. Neither was Mata who played far worse then Dade even. Most glaring was really the overall team cohesiveness and their rotations and team play as a whole. Ozone made so many strategic errors that had nothing to do with picks and bans or even laning phase at all. That's why they lost, not Dade's picks or Imp and Mata losing lane all the time. It's all overall game strategy, lousy rotations and I'll advised skirmishes and teamfights.
Personally I still favor them to make it out of the group since I think they are just a much better team then what they have shown thus far. I believe they can pull it together. Still, I never expected them to be in this situation either so I guess we will see. The one thing I really question though is the replacement of Homme right before worlds. It makes no sense to me to replace one of the foundations of your team right before the biggest games of your career and not to mention, it's disrespectful to Homme who helped you get there in the first place. Homme was playing really well recently anyways so it's even more curious that this was done.

thanks a lot, riot. Fuck Eu, right? Its only your biggest region with a huge loyal fanbase. NA+China+Korea > EU sorry bro, can't make everyone happy pls dont make nonsensical equations and then "sorry bro" me, thanks. Anyways, at least this way i can watch only the best games without delays. And Riot will feel my wrath when i dont buy RP for half a year or so :p. I hope more Eu people will do this. I feel for you EU guys, I really do. How has the VODs been? afaik, Riot has been good with youtube uploads immediately after the day is over, no? Been using the Reddit vod thread for the Youtube links and its been very good. I just hate missing this thread as the game unfolds. Its not the same to read after the fact

thanks a lot, riot. Fuck Eu, right? Its only your biggest region with a huge loyal fanbase. I personally think a 7 PM start is pretty awful for me. But it's an international event. Can't possibly make everyone happy. Really? What's wrong with 7pm on a weekday? It's pretty much the ideal time. i'll trade you, I'll take the 7pm you take our 10pm~ I prefer the 1 PM starts a la LCS. That's just me though. :X Obv if I don't like 7 PM starts, 10 PM would be even worse. GFG east coast. Some of us are employed. hue.

Just give play by plays of whats happening with a lot of posts and people would appreciate you for spamming the thread with recaps, kind of a shame nobody does this for LoL tournament threads. Sometimes I will miss an amazing play and there will be almost a page worth of "X is so good!" type comments or reading about a match later it will be a lot of "Team X threw so hard", but have no idea what the play was. You can still request someone to give a recap though.

I think for the most part that the highlight plays get noticed and described in this thread. They just get swarmed by other conversation pieces.

That's true, but in order to go to my job I have to get sleep, meaning I should probably be asleep by midnight to be productive meaning I only get about 2 hours of Worlds viewing time in. Honestly though it's just not possible to please everyone with the times.

I mean this thread got me to watch the first half of the Mineski-Vulcan game. And the reddit vod thread has timestamps for the desk, which is a nice way to recap the evening as well. Although I will say that 1,000+ posts in one night was a lot to catch up on you fucking spammers.

I'm pretty sure it's not bigger than china. Oh,and you guys barely got like 135k viewers for your EU LCS finals..?

It was a bit silly that the OMG translator was asking the Chinese community to send them the analysis article of lemon dog the day before yesterday, so I think Lemon dog may win next match.

Depends. The chinese style is difficult to analyze until you actually play against them. Lemondogs afaik haven't had the chance to scrim against them while fnatic and gambit have.
