Can't wait for Vulcun vs Gambit.

Was anyone watching the KR stream for that last game? Curious what CT/Reapered/other KR commentators had to say about that match.

there is one guy on reddit who posts a summary that the koreans said for 1-3 games.
here the post for game 6-7 e.g. http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1mh7pp/spoilerkorean_casters_opinions_game67/
post for 8-10 will prob be up later.
Apparently I missed an Alex Ich interview on the ogn stream though would be nice if anyone had the timestamp for that when it's up later.

Both OMG and Gambit underperformed in their first games they thought and stepped it up the second time against the koreans and made no mistakes

Seems like League of technical difficulties continued for group B that 20min pause

I expect Dade to come in tomorrow pissed off and probably kill Mineski in under 17 minutes.
If Dade loses to Yume, who is like 3/15/5 so far against the two European teams, then it's time to start shoveling dirt on him.

It might have been a Korean "thing". Xiaoxiao and Zzittai were commentators for one of the (unofficial) Chinese broadcast. They said that during scrims, when the Korean team lose a large chunk of health they just recall back. It somewhat make sense since when they comeback with full status, they can bully their lane opponents.

Scratch that, it's Mineski.
Dade has been on a spiral ever since the Fakeropalypse.

Not a bad start for TSM. shake off the omg loss and move on! glad to see turtle and TOO playing well. sounded like mostly xpecial and Regi letting down a bit.

Also hate to give good news to TSM fans, but apparently they were beating a lot of teams in group B including gambit, fnatic, and vulcan.

First Dade, then Ryu. Cool's up next.

(after first-second blood) diamond is smart enough to help ahri snowball unlike vulcun's jungler eve can start with 1 doran ring to DFG, or go elder lizard. when eve gets elder lizard, her dmg output doubles. kog with phage? this is really genja. (19min mark) everyone will go bot and there will be a 5v5 fight. kog was a very nice pick cuz ozone is all short ranged. not sure if these teams are great or they just become super great when they face korean teams."

I think people are making to much out of Ozone's performance as disrespect. I think SSO thinks Ryze is genuinely a good pick versus Ahri because he can rune prison her in teamfights, and to some extent that was proven in the game versus Vulcun where mandatorycloud got nullified after his fast start. I think Ozone just underestimated how bad the lane really is in the early game and Alex Ich hit his charms more often then Mandatorycloud and made them pay. Ozone miscalculated.
The more surprising thing to me was how badly Mata and Imp got manhandled by Genja and Voidle of all people. This was the lane I expected would carry Ozone to victory and instead they got demolished. Not only did Imp lose in CS to Genja, the lane drew so much pressure from Dandy and Looper that it essentially lost them the game. Imp and especially Mata need to play way better if Ozone even wants to escape the group. Dade didn't play that poorly, it was more a result of his champion choice, but Mata and Imp did.
The bottom line though, is that Gambit was simply the better team tonight. I don't know how they do it after looking so terrible for the Summer split but they are tip top once again. Ozone looks shaky without Homme in my opinion even though Looper played reasonably well. I think it may be a mistake to switch out a cornerstone of your team right before worlds but we will see as the group progresses.

has anyone got a link to the ogn stream?

Great games today.
I just wanna say that in all of the GG discussion Voidle hasn't been brought up. He had a couple instant Crescendos as soon as Genja got dove. Give the new (er) man some credit too. He played well in both games.

Nobody underestimates how bad ryze is right now. He went from top tier pick to disappearing in every region. Vulcan said after the match they shouldn't have gotten away with the ryze. The range nerfs meant a lot against the ahri matchup. Dade was simply overestimating his own skill on ryze (although he was an amazing ryze back in the day). Also notice how much ahri is picked nowadays? That's not just because everyone figured out how good she was, it's more about ryze being dumpstered and there not being any really good counters against ahri. Ofc, ahri doesn't win lane in all matchups but she's super solid and a high tier pick when zed is permabanned.
Mata and imp could definitely have won that lane even though the lane is HIGHLY favorable to sona/kogmaw but they miscalculated and played poorly. Couple this with their mid getting wrecked and having no control on the map with eve and they weren't able to punish the kogmaw pick with ganks.
In any case, rewatched some key moments today but that was really on dade there. He came back into lane after dying and died immediately again leading to a completely free dragon and 3k gold deficit. I think that really put their whole team on tilt.
HOWEVER, I do believe SSO to be a really cocky team right now. They thought themselves to be able to do whatever they wanted and just win every lane as if it was owed to them. It was the same after they won spring. They thought they'd beat SKT T1 easily even though their players were so talented individually. I think this attitude put them on tilt when they were put behind in almost every lane and lead to imp and mata trying to make plays that weren't there. Mata flashing for sona... man... I rate that higher than missed crescendos just because of how terrible of a play that was.
