I say sneakycastro is the best this split tbh somewhat by default, for a role NA takes so much pride in every ADC across the board except cop has underperformed pretty hard. On a positive note though NA mid laners have stepped it up big time this split

Wtf is up with doublelift seriously he's done so many wrong things this week.

He's been really unimpressive this summer season.

Who's the mvp adc for this season though?

Sneakycastro easily.

Really? His playstyle fits the team well, but I don't think he's a top tier adc at all.

He makes the least mistakes. You aren't comparing him to ADC of the world, comparing to ADC in NA LCS this split. Pretty much every other ADC has played like trash for a lot of the split and had maybe a few moments of good play. Sneaky at least has never really played that badly. Surely that gives him mvp adc.

MVP should be the most valuable. It's really hard to tell, as with any team game, but I'm pretty sure C9 would still win with another LCS level ADC.

Look at C9's team though. What ADC wouldn't do well on their team in this split going 22-3 and dominating everyone; you're not gonna really have many opportunities to be bad. Sneaky has the easiest job in the game. Meteos, Balls, and Hai are typically all huge threats in almost every game. All the other cores on his team have historically bigger impacts on the game than he has and he's never had to truly "carry" his team.

To clarify things. If you're asking me who I'd want to put in the ADC for another all stars game with the best chance of winning it probably wouldn't be sneaky.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Lemonation pretty much said in a reddit ama that you could put Wildturtle or qtpie in and they'd be fine.

It feels really weird to see that no one below 3rd place has a better than 50% record.

He's not worried about the damage but the positioning he will be left in if he stays in the water. DL's mindset was get on the ridge and use Ez's skill shots to do damage and have a better position. Staying in the water was an insta-death sentence. It was just unlucky that he got stunned into the wall. It was probably his best choice.

Not saying he's a world class player, but let's say he's been consistently good for C9 and plays his role as the 3rd position carry very well.

It's why I said that sneakycastro is the best adc this split.

Oh, my mistake. Carry on good sir!

Also of note:

Sneaky has a KDA of 6.8 (2nd in the LCS behind Meteos and his godly 12.4 KDA)
He also has the 3rd highest GPM in the LCS (behind Mancloud and Doublelift)

so Copp was your spring split adc mvp?

Only mancloud consistently looking scary, hai/balls (depending on game) can be solid, but NA overall, has pretty bad mids.

Link and mancloud primarily. To a lesser extent regi's gotten his throws in check more than before, hai's good at his job. Only nyjacky has been a significant downgrade in performance imo.
Ecco has tried to drag velocity across the finishing line.

Don't forget Scarra's decline - he was an All-Star in Spring Split, which is crazy to me right now. Although maybe with some more manly performances he can win me back.

Bad mids compared to the rest of the world I guess... But I'd say relative to the other roles in NA the players are at least as good or better. EU has always had legendary mids and Korea is just as scary.

Apparently because Curse wins the h2h against both dig and CLG, they get seeded ahead of them.

Forgot about Link. He's been solid.
Nyjacky has been so shit. As a massive nyjacky fanboi, I've been more sad about his downwards trend than I have been about the entire team's downwards trend. I'll just blame it on bad habits when playing with Saint.

The EUW rulebook is outdated... if you compare it with the NA one.

I kind of hate rating things on stats that I don't really think tell us that much about the game. However they do say *something.* Sneaky plays the role within the team very well. I don't know if you could just put Cop/qtpie/Dlift into his spot, but he does do well to put up good stats on a team where he doesn't necessarily have the freedom to play the carry champs like Vayne and Trist.

Both Sneaky this split and Cop last split are products on the system, so its difficult to rate them, but for me Sneaky's lack of derp moments, strong play with a variety of champions make me want to give him the benefit of the doubt. Meanwhile, even when Cop was playing well, Cop was still Cop.

I'd put up more of a fight on this because I Feel spring Copp and Sneaky are basically a mirror of one another, but I basically agree with the original sentiment that nobody stands out so you could say just about anyone and not be straight up wrong here.

I don't think he was deserving of an All-Star spot (Mancloud was), but he certainly wasn't as bad as he was this season. That may have been because he was allowed to play Gragas/Diana every game and Kiwi didn't feed in top lane though.
