CLG firstpicked Ahri, and Coast went for Ezreal/Ziggs. Not only did they miss out on getting a decent counter for Ahri (like, Diana to out-roam her) but gave away their trick pick right away AND let Zac and Thresh through. Really stupid

Chauster is doing a superb job at vision control. They are far ahead now so it's pretty easy but his pinks in the midgame were spot on.

I can sorta see what cst wanted, against a team with so much dive, but I still didn't like it, and they have not converted me. I just don't see them having the damage required against the divers, even if they can disengage, Zac will just jump in again later, as he as done to great effect.
Too my great sadness, it seems evil (CLG) will prevail yet again.

This. It's fine to pick Ziggs, but you can't let CLG get both Thresh and Zac for their 2nd and 3rd picks. I don't see what the rush was to pick Ziggs when they already knew the enemy mid.

The funny thing about all of this is, Ziggs is not the problem for coast right now. Look at Shiphtur, and look at the rest of the team.

Yeah, but the problem isn't what Ziggs is doing, it's that they took Ziggs and let CLG get Zac/Thresh. It was pretty unlikely CLG was going to take Ziggs, especially when they'd already picked Ahri.

Against a team that will dive, you generally want counter-initiates/stuns. Possibly their mid and jungle are lacking for overall counter fighting. Mid could have been Gragas(unlikely), Lissandra, or Orianna. Jungle could have been Lee Sin, Jarvan IV, or possibly Eve(unlikely)
