And yeah, I don't hate him as a person, I've watched him stream a couple of times, he's funny there, he's just bad at casting. Riv gibberish mode is some of the most hilarious casts I have listened to. It's even more a joy when Jatt is there with his ability to transition effortlessly. Don't know how people can hate something so funny.
This is one of the big reasons why I don't like him. Jatt could be a really deep and good analytical caster but Riv's gibberish forces him to say dumb basic shit all the time.

He brings absolutely zero information to the broadcast, not even in a play by play sense, tramples all over his co-caster's flow and half of the time his sentences don't actually make any sense. Let him do interview's or presentation or something, he's got a good stage presence. Honestly I kind of like that he has no info, at least analysis wise. What he lacks in that area he gives in genuine excitement for the game. Sometimes I just want to see game excitement and he does deliver in that area. As for the co-caster trampling, yeah that does happen a lot, but I think that experience will smooth that out.
I don't mind that he has no analysis info but he doesn't provide play by play info either. He never builds off Jatt and his play by play is completely fucking pointless unless he's just yelling in a teamfight.

That IDGAF flash under tower from Evaniskus to kill Lemon, heh. Nicely done by Cris to avoid death up top, too.
|
Not sure if worth it, another kill to Ashe, and Nami's Flash down. :/ I guess Evaniskus was dead anyway, tho.

c9 team movements are pretty damn crisp.
|
C9 needs to work on their super early game I think. They almost always give up first blood and often a couple of kills early, which is bad for a team which otherwise dominates so completely. It hardly ever matters in NA LCS, because teamfight and objective control, but in worlds it will probably matter.

Isn't Varus supposed to out-damage Ashe hard? Or with her passive (now able to be primed) and the additional aa time from her ult enough to duel him at low level?
|
Cris just taking a dump all over Balls

lul balls getting shit on, but C9 will still wins this

Bam, harpoon to the face. That one was actually pretty crisp as a spectator, what with the sound-effect and all.

Varus does more damage early, but Zyra compensates that. Zyra's early game damage is really strong.
