NA might be worst region; but god damn do we have entertaining fucking matches.

Couldn't say it any better. I stay for the throws.

tbh, eu looks worse than na, i dont even know why people keep saying that na is the worst everrr.

Because they watched the games.

so did i, and whenever i watch eu games i feel like suciding.

I didn't catch all the EU games, but from what I saw it's pretty :V too. Nothing can top the amount of moments in the NA scene though, but it makes it fun to watch. :>

Not sure how Dyrus is considered a professional LoL player tbh

Dyrus failure to defend 2 (or was it all 3?) inhibs from Nien really cost TSM the game. He didnt even try to keep him away just some half hearted poke. Why not all in on that last inhib. If they lost it they wouldnt come back anyway.

That's not dyrus' fault, it's whoever made the call for kennen to go defend against elise (presumably regi). Thank god for the unofficial vod... mlg still hasn't uploaded their version. The end of that game is epic, but minutes 20-50ish are a snoozefest.

I think CLG's urgot comp needs some theoretical work before they play it again... big leads agaisnt TSM and China but unable to capitalize on them. Maybe it was just the team not following thru on pre-planned strats, but I don't think that was the case (considering the reminder the C9 game gave them about that).

At least clg made an effort to stick to their plan and Link basically camped bot all game to splitpush and didn't get impatient and decided to force weird teamfights like against cloud 9 although they itemized for splitpush

Yea that part i didnt understand.. he only went in when nien took his second inhib in a 1vs1. It looked like Dyrus didnt had enough confidence to go for the 1on1 with Nien. (because after that you see clearly that dyrus could take him easily)

And the run on mid was so stupid from Dyrus. He maybe could have kitted the group of minions to give TSM the seconds to finish the game but he went full retard/asperge mode.

Dyrus performs well: best top lane NA, so conistant! Dyrus makes a mistake: how is this guy even pro!? You guys are worse than Reddit sometimes.

And the sloppy play from both NA and EU every week makes me really sad. Worlds is going to be a joke.

Gj Fanboi of TSM. But he self stated on reddit he got 3 calls from his team and thats why he went mid.

He is now playing 2.5 years LoL and still not make the judgement on his own. That is in my eyes insecurity of his game.

Easy there, ExoFun.

But yes, Dyrus is not exactly a confident player. He can be and that's obviously when he plays his best. But 90% of the time, I feel like he's a meek player and he only reacts to what his team tells him. Unwavering faith to your team captain can be good and bad. In Dyrus's case, I see a lot more of the latter than former.

How many times does "you always follow calls even if they're wrong" need to be said?

In a vacuum, yes, even I agree with that statement.

In the case of Dyrus trying to Nien, you can really, really tell by his movements that he doubted his ability to fight Nien 1v1 while Nien was pummeling his mid inhib. He still followed through, don't get me wrong.

I'm a fanboy because I can take a step back and point out rash generalizations? Dyrus following the calls made by the shot-caller will be for the best the majority of the time (depending on how you feel about Regi's calls). This time he made a mistake on how he executed the call. Mistakes happen. Of course this says something about Dyrus' mindset, but even if he isn't the most confidant player sometimes, that doesn't mean that he doesn't mean that he's bad, or shouldn't be pro.

Both teams made good plays throughout the game, but what we should really be focusing on is how shaky TSM and CLG looked overall and what this means for the NA scene.

Just finished watching CLG vs TSM omg what an intense game, really great ! But wtf did they do at the end ? Why not backing once the CLG inhib was down and defending the base ? Dyrus played really bad overall but I don't think his mistake of leaving the base cost them the game since after the triple CLG was going to end anyway.

My problem isnt with Dyrus being sent to defend the inhibs. My problem is him letting Nien take both without any effort to stop him. Regi isnt telling him to do nothing. he does that all by himself. Either he all-ins Nien and stops him or he dies. There is a chance he will win.
By not doing anything he handed CLG the game on a silver plate since there was no way TSM could defend there nexus with no towers and no inhibs while also pushing CLG's base.

I feel like after Nien finished off the 3 inhibs the game was won for clg anyway, it's almost impossible to come back from that with only 1 Nexus tower remaining, they had an opening and probably called Dyrus for an all-in gamble push. Kennen alone can't hold 2 waves with 4 superminions.

Had Turtle, Oddone and Xpecial based, Clg would have respawned and pushed in with 20.000 creeps for an easy victory.

If JiJi didn't kill Reginald though, it might have been a different story with 4 v Nien and Karthus easily holding those waves with defile and 900 Ap Qs. So mad props again to King Jiji for finishing off Regi and Chauster had a clutch tornado on Turtle which prevented Jiji from dying before killing him.

edit: Doublelift played absolute shit lategame and had very questionable itemization. (Randuins vs 3 ap, no qss/merc scim)

Yeah, I was really concerned that Jiji wasn't going to get the kill on Karthus. Those full tank Noc AAs weren't doing shit lol.

Jiji should really consider building some sort of damage item, esp on a champion like Nocturne (DARKNESSSSSS).
I mean yes, I realize that he would have died at Dragon if he didn't go full tank but there have been plenty of times where his paltry auto attacks just make any CLG fan cringe. He's gotten pretty lucky so far and manage to get that last hit into whenever he needs it but still...
BC is probably his best choice? Gives him what he needs on the offensive end and CDR+HP. BC plz jiji.

Jesus, fucking, christ, Doublelift. I guess for every 9 games he carries CLG, the team has to carry him at least once. Real dora the explorer mode (it honestly look like he a-moved into 4 TSM at one point in the game) and Omen build against Karthus, Kennen, Varus? wei2coolman suggest Warmog's but I think Banshee's would have been better. But ffs, Omen?!
/sigh

You can't be the best top lane when your so passive imo. The strongest is the one who forces their opponent to make the most errors not the one who is usually evenish in cs.
OMG you nasty gurl
