Nien's Vlad pick is wonky, that's all I'm going to say. Luckily, MonteCristo has offered to talk to Nien about how to play Vlad and some other Top Lane champions and I hope to god Nien takes that offer. jiji is ok and I say ok with all mediocrity. He missed his Smite against Nk Inc and that's really not acceptable, that just wrecked his early game and he certainly didn't recover like SSJ Meteos. CLG shouldn't even think about Worlds right now, there's so much more to fix atm. C9, they're the real deal and if CLG can't perform, these guys are my boys. Meteos is getting a ton of hype so I'll avoid talking about him for a little bit. Let's talk about Sneaky and how much this guy's improved in the past few months. On Dig B, he was literally a nobody. He didn't stand out and didn't look exceptional. Now with Lemon and C9, Sneaky's picks start to look more impressive. Jayce is by far Sneaky's personal signature ADC champion and he does it well. On Day 1, he's shown he can Draven with the best of them. Pay attention to this guy's positioning in lane and in team fights. He wrecked so far in team fight but no one noticed because of focking lightning rat stunning everyone. Top Lanes, Zion and Cris, pretty good performances by both of them. It will and it has always come down to consistency. At League's infancy, each region had their respective role strengths. CN with ADCs, EU with Mid Lane, NA was, at one point, both Top and Jungler. Top quickly got toppled by Koreans and our Junglers really stagnated. But I think as this split continues, we can see a resurgence of strong Top Lanes again, and of course, Meteos. hue Hey man, Sneaky took second place in that one SoloMid invitational on Pulse, who you calling a nobody? /hue

when he can't land a point blank thresh hook on someone who doesn't see him. Not even gonna start talking about how their 2v2 wasn't even close to what they describe. All I hear is that they were gods when that is just wrong.Doublelift had better cs because he didn't miss cs for no reason and that's it.They were good yes but back then noone was good.

The reason I think top stagnated for so long had to do with NA overvaluing utility top laners over carry top laners. I think recent top lane changes have made aggressive top laners shine. Btw calling cris to carry the shit out of VES.

In Korea, Kennen is pretty much banned or 1st picked every match. It is surprising that TSM said they got outpicked this game, which I believe they did, seeing as they scrimmed C9 a lot. The one thing I see working well against Kennen so far in Korea when it is picked has been going Karthus + Janna for disengage with Janna Ult into Karthus Wall + reengage. Even if Janna ult is not up, Karthus wants people to go into him so it still serves a purpose. I think teams are favoring Sona/Thresh so much that they are ignoring how another support may be better for their specific comp. Jayce will continue to be permanently banned against teams that play him. He is just ridiculous in mid right now and not bad top lane. I would like to see what C9 plays if Elise/Kennen/Jayce are banned against them. I would expect Hai to play either Zed/Kha/TF, assuming they are first pick they would most likely go for Thresh. Now, you can assume that they still prefer Zac/Ryze/Draven/Zed and will be looking to pick those with their next picks. Thresh + Draven lane would be a terror in lane phase but, there are ways to play against it such as lane swapping and forcing fast turret. Zed has been nerfed so I don't think he is an issue at all. Ryze mid can be countered and he shouldn't be a problem either. I would much rather play against these picks (assuming these are their preferences) than the comps they have already shown. Another option is to leave Kennen, Elise and Thresh all open.

Also, inb4 Kennen ban every game. Yesterday he was either ban or 1st, but I suspect he will be Korean TF level now and get ban 100% of the game.

If Elise/Kennen/Jayce are banned, I'd expect Meteos: default Zac but he can Nocturne too (and force an AoE comp by C9) Hai: Zed, TF, Kha'Zix Balls: Ryze, Rumble bot lane can pick w/e they want. I mentioned before that Sneaky didn't look all that impressive on Dig B but paired with Lemon, the two complement each other very well and I'm eager to see if team will ever focus on their bot lane. As it is now, Hai, Meteos and Balls essentially ensure that Sneaky is well protected at all times. Diamond plays a redonkulous Jungle Eve but it's mind boggling why it's not catching on more yet. Granted, Eve is a nuisance and requires much more finesse (and timing) to play than say J4.

After seeing Jayce yesterday, Ryze/Kennen are higher priority bans in the hands of NA players.
