i wouldn't be surprised at a 2-1 eu win at this point. but anything goes

The problem here is that EU has mentioned that they have no had much practice time together. See this:

Q: There was some trouble getting sOAZ into the country. Will your lack of training have influence on your upcoming matches?

sOAZ: Of course, as we've missed four days of practice. It's worse for us and better for the other teams, but we'll talk more today and see what we can do against the Koreans.

How did EU bootcamp? Was it just online like Gambit usually does?

If so, I'd imagine problems might crop up.

I believe they were going to boot camp after gathering in china, but they had visa issues. Source:

https://www.facebook.com/fnaticSOAZ/posts/559523654070659

There was a video out interviewing 2 of the 5 who were still in the fnatic house(I believe) around 2 days before their trip explaining a bit more, but I'm too lazy to find that right now.

Ouch. That bad? I'd have thought they did online bootcamps in the interim.

I mean, it puts them in the same boat as KR so the matches here will def be interesting. That being said, I would probably end up having to favor NA slightly more in the (more probable) NA vs EU losers bracket.

Didn't really make a difference but it's something that shouldn't be in the tournament client.

reddit looking for excuses already, oh the glory, best part about na losing.

China rigged the client in order to favor their team, only reason why NA lost.

Damn those Chinese, some how rigged NA team to tower dive on a baron team too

The problem with NA is that even if they have built an early advantage, they'll just make a mistake at the worst possible time, hence the throws.

No, even if urgot had all the kills, the retarded call of 'swap ryze' while under tower would have been the same.

There was no smite battle for Saint to even win. Ryze, Vayne and Zac were bot chasing Dyrus.

4v2 at baron and NA does not stop dps earlier than usual to prevent steal. Instead they let Sona flash in to Crescendo Saint so he can't even get a smite off. What should have happened is that NA should have stopped dps earlier so that Sona would have to guess when to flash in - she would flash in too early, they gib her. Zone Nasus for 2-3 secs which gives enough time for Saint to safely smite then just fight just as Vayne and Ryze arrive.

I'm sure they played together before China on EU servers, but boot camp to me implies playing in person together as a team. Sorry if I misunderstood.

The reason he is welcomed in China because he is Chinese and speak the language really well. Chinese view him as Chinese not an American.

Where in that post does it say "The reason why NA lost is because Misaya got free gold"?

It's just pointing out a legitimate and serious bug. Nobody should be getting free gold and exp for doing nothing.

Lol did people serious think NA has a better chance than China in the last match up? Unless the poll says who you want to win, people are just deluded.

If that's an actual bug and not just a spectator visual thing it's really gamebreaking. It wouldn't have changed the outcome of the CN v. NA game in the slightest, but it can definitely impact future games in this tourney.

There's some voting bias involved here since I doubt Chinese nationals use LoLeSports.com
