It doesn't matter. I don't know why people think of the LCS as a Top 4/Bottom 4 league (I guess because Dig/CLG/TSM/Crs seem like one tier and GGU/MRN/Vulcun/coL a second tier). The LCS is not a Top 4/Bottom 4 league. It is a 2-4-2 league. The top two teams get playoff byes, the next four have to play each other in an initial round (3v6 and 4v5), and the bottom two miss the playoffs. Even if Vulcun overtakes CLG, the only thing that will change is when they play each other in the first round of the playoffs, now Vulcun has a 4 next to their name and CLG a 5. Which I still don't think will happen. 2 games is a lot to make up. Vulcun's real chance was last week. | ||
