I've seen so much varus, but every time its been ineffective and I've never seen a Korean team, let alone an asian team run a varus in a tournament. Then you haven't watched many tournaments, Korean and Chinese teams used him in SWL half a dozen times. Edit: Blaze, Frost and LG-IM even used him in the group stage here at IEM.

I've been following this forum with great interest throughout 2013's LoL tournaments and I thank you all for the great coverage on the matches I couldn't see with the video stream. However, I would appreciate if any of you guys could sum up the two games between Anexis and Blaze as I went out when they were played. Cheers !

First game was just a roflstomp from Blaze. Second game was a little bit more close but Blaze was just the better team. Anexis could come back a little but overextended and got kited by cpt jack really good after that game was over.

I don't remember how I ended up on this website, maybe when looking for a text-based recap of the S3 matches I couldn't follow live. really helped through the super week (W4 of S3) and when streams were lagging too much. Thanks for the recap ! I'm french and I really thought Millenium could take the second match against Frost, even after having beeing stomped the match before. They played a really ballsy lineup, though I believe Varus mid wasn't the greatest choice of them all. I was so happy they had a lv1 teamfight, it's been rare in 2013. But I have to give credit to Frost coming back after they had 3 inhibs down. Just glad Millenium showed a much better level than they did at IEM Sao Paulo. Anyway, can't wait to see Gambit in action, as I missed all group stages match !!! GO RUSSIA <3

The 'games' are so incredibly awkward and the presentations are so weird and weak I cant even look at them without feeling sorry for the poor guy presenting it. Sjokz is the only one on stage who is doing her best to keep the awkwardness low. The questions to EG were read from a laptop he was trying to balance on one arm while trying to work the microphone with the other. We have tablets we have paper still, use it, gives u alot more presence on the stage, you can engage more with your crowd. Sure there are things they could improve in these areas but we're not exactly the target to please here. The raffles are there to entertain the live audience and the presentations are for sponsors. As online viewers, we can just do whatever the hell we want during breaks. Whether it's a splash screen with crappy dubstep, raffles, commercials or presentations, I'm not gonna watch anyway (except for a few moments when checking to see if a match or interview started) so they might as well get something from it and entertain the crowd as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't bother me in the slightest, I don't expect non-stop entertainment from these events.
