After assessing all the comments from EU Day 1, we've decided to put a warning in regards to any bashing of commentators and cameraman. If you have nothing constructive to contribute, don't post. You are always welcome to mute the stream. Understand that this is just the beginning and production is a work in progress.

Thanks,

Hmm. Recap of Gambit vs EG plox? Worth the watch?

pretty standard EG game. Obviously high level, but it wasn't that interesting to watch. EG farmed and trusted in froggen on the bird, which seems to pay off

Its pretty funny that EG actually wanted to play very different. But Gambit banned them out and forced them to play their old and proven standard, which led to Gambits demise. :D

Gambit seems like NaVi, when there is no presure they play rather medicure. I would not be suprised if they end up with 4th place or so. And we all doubt them like we did at Katovice. Wich in turn they show an utter stomp when it's about money.

Gambit just had a really shitty picks, Udyr+Olaf vs Anivia isn't really smart, Ezreal+Nunu not the best botlane combo but the Darien losing hard vs Shen as Olaf is the mainreason they lost imo. Alex actually did a decent job as ryze vs Froggenivia, staying ahead in farm for a log time but Mao+Anivia too strong.

Pretty sad that they had to ruin his 100% Ryze winrate with bad Drafting

Fnatic vs GG gonna be amazing, the two best teams in Europe hands down

Personally I d prefer to see Rekkless instead Yellowstar (Suicidestar >.<) so much, it would be way more interesting to see Gambit facing off against 3 monsters (Peke, soaz and Rek) instead two.

Pretty disappointing games overall imo. Fnatic is struggling a lot, M5 vs CLG.eu was a stomp.. As everyone said M5 comp was awful and maybe Alex was too proud and thought he could handle Froggenivia.. Guess he was wrong.
And SK vs WW, also a stomp :/

Yeah, GG got straight-up outpicked. After Caitlyn was picked and Anivia/Lux were still available, there was no way Udyr was ever going to work. Picking such a farm-heavy jungler also allowed EG to run Maokai instead of something more resilient - maybe the tried-and-trusted Lee Sin or Mundo would have been a better choice. Ezreal/Nunu is, compared to basically every other Nunu combination, very weak all game long - Ashe or Twitch would have been way better choices, especially against a team with little diving options (unless they want to blow Shen ult on Maokai every time). Finally, I'd rather have seen Alex pick Evelynn instead of Ryze - sure, she's nerfed, but they never had a chance at getting to Caitlyn with their lineup, especially if Olaf doesn't run Flash.

Alex handled Froggenivia just fine - he kept being ahead or even for very long, even once the game started going downhill. The game was so one-sided because Darien's Olaf got roflstomped by Wickd's Shen, of all things, Diamondprox had no impact early/midgame and their bot lane was straight-up weak.

Im sorry but what games have you been watching?
Fnatic has pulled out 2 wins by the skin of there teeth against teams they should have dominated as the "best" and GG picked the worst draft in LCS yet and got stomped on.

It's early in the season yet. Yes Fnatic looked shaky, but a win is a win

GG on the other hand did not impress me day 1, but in all fairness they played one of the strongest teams. We'll see how they do against Fnatic today, but until at least the first cycle is done (all teams have played everyone else once) I'd say it is far too soon to say anything about who is how strong.

A best of 1 might be a fluke or a messed up draft, so take yesterdays results with a grain of salt

Prediction time!

GG > Fnatic - After there loss yesterday they will have hit themselves in the head and there going to go much better today.
Wolves < EG - easy call tbh
Giants < GG - Gambit not messing around today.
SK < EG - Assuming EG doesnt try something "new" and dumb they should have this.

Predictions

GG> Fnatic - Should be a really good game but i dont think Fnatic has what it takes to be able to pull out the win...Fnatic did look a little shaky so I think GG will capitalize on any mistakes they do make.

EG > Wolves - With the way EG looked yesterday I dont think Wolves stands a chance

GG > Giants - GG is gonna come out firing after yesterday

EG > SK - SK is a good team but they struggle late and cant seem to close out games so even if they do get ahead early the masters of stalling will prevail in the end

The games of the last 3 months for example...

EG did look bad, guess things took a positive turn for them, but yea as somebody mentioned cant take a couple of Bo 1 series all too serious yet (edit. except that Peke is still the most impressive player in Europe)

The recap of yesterday is a really good addition.
Already had my first small lags though. And audio/video is out of sync.

Also Sjokz looks lovely.

Redox: you watching on youtube or twitch? Twitch seems stable so far.

The recaps on the other hand are a really nice production addition as you said, they seemed decently done and really help you catch up if you miss a day.

edit: guess i talked too soon, 3 hickups in the introduction of the players...

Yesterday both twitch and youtube were absolutely shit faced for me. Reloaded utube 4 times and heard the same sequence into stream death 4 times a row in like 45 minute time span. Whole twitch site simply up and died for me, couldn't even get to their directories.
