why would you 2v1 ez vs vayne lol?

so vayne doesnt get 4 levels advantage over ez.

and then vayne just super outscales Ezreal later on anyway -_-

Theres a phase between laning and late game where they could have had a chance, now they dont.

That's coming from hindsight, though. Playing out the lane 2v2, was absolutely the right decision from TSM. Just because they played it out wrong, doesn't mean it wasn't the right choice.

If you don't think Ez+leona is better in laning phase over vayne+lulu, than there's no point continuing this line of argument.
ez completely outplays vayne in lane, with superior poke. Ez+leona's full engage throughout lane phase is almost always better than vayne+lulu at all levels during laning phase. If you're running ez, you almost always want to run the 2v2 lane, because ez's main strength is superior laning phase. you only want to run hypercarries in 2v1 lanes, due to weak lane phase, vayne is one of these carries.

1. What engage from leona? She never could engage on vayne.
2. Jax isnt good 1v2, 2v1 from tsm wouldnt allow him to shit on shen so hard.
3. If ez leona is so much better wouldnt you think that curse eu would send vayne lulu top?

Whatever, unexpected outcome nevertheless, thought tsm would win quite hard just by outskilling curse.

idk maybe a stun from Q/xenath blade to close the gap/stun or slow from ult..the problem wasn't that leona couldn't engage it was just when she engaged they were behind so they lost.

did vayne have cleanse? i think so, but still.

What the fuck are you smoking? Yes jax loses in 2v1 lane harder then shen, but it's not as hard as the loss of having a free farmed vayne.

And i'm pretty sure Crs.eu was the favorite in this game, especially after beating m5 at a LAN event, very recently.

Also, shen+jax is an even match up. TSM just got outplayed all around, the lane matchups were in their favor, they just played it all terribly.

I think this is one of the very few time i've seen clg.eu purposefully choose a midgame comp, over a lategame comp.

Who the hell is making excuses? It's TSM's failure to get outpicked. That they then get outplayed is besides the point. TSM played like shit that game, and are likely going to continue playing like shit the rest of the tournament.

actually I'm pretty sure clg already is qulified for winners, unless I misunderstand the format

In all honesty Leona not having Flash and Ezreal having E at level 1 cost them the lane. The Cho gank for Vayne's FB was SO EASY. The lane would have been completely different if Ez had Q to fight back and if Leona had flash to stay alive and not let Vayne snowball so hard.

I still think TSM would have lost either way, but that completely lost them bot lane.

I don't get it either, Curse.Eu beating TSM wasn't much of a bold prediction. It was plenty apparent Curse is a strong team. The only question mark coming into it was if their sub would do well, he did great.

only thing that is bad about Zyra mid is your support isn't Zyra, the matchup vs Kat isn't even bad let alone what people in this thread are trying to make it out to be.

Well, as a Kat player it's a preferred match-up. The problem with Kat is that there are mids that completely shit on you. HArd. Zyra isn't one. You can't out-right kill her but you should be able to zone and keep her from cs after level 5. Zyra clears lane pretty good later so she can keep up with Katarinas roam but I still think you need to pick to shut Katarina down, not to do decently.

Reggie is a good Karthus player, he could've gone exhaust karthus and just farmed. He roams with his ulti so np np.

Lux shields op

@Cuddle:

Kat stomps on Karthus. Like it isn't even funny hard. W movement speed makes it incredibly hard to hit Q as Karthus, and Abyssal negates the damage that Karthus does whilst Karthus pretty much needs ROA to survive anything at all. Get walled? E on Karthus, do your combo and E back out when he's dead.

q max Zyra = 1k+ range auto attack harass she can do really well vs all melee mids if you actually adjust to the matchup instead of blindly maxing E

Again, how is that making excuses? It's stating the bloody facts. TSM left Vayne, JAX(!!), AND Lulu open for Curse.eu. They asked to lose. THEN on TOP of that, they played like shit, and never stood a chance. You're just an anti-TSM-guy who looks for every possibile opportunity to take shots at people who like TSM.

curse.eu played with standin and recently lost to fnatic and cw, big favourites. Ye, shen lost half hp at lvl 1, got camped and shit on because they would lose 2v2 anyways. Leona is garbage pick against lulu vayne, at best lane would be equal leading to same situation as 2v1ing and the best didnt happen by far.
