only? as far as i know, every single game of the tournament is streamed, which is pretty unique for a tournament, especially a tournament of this size.

I hoped that M5 would be able to snowball, but they played well in their own style. I don't think a top Korean team will ever let them sit back and farm like that though.

To be honest I think Group C will be the most interesting. The teams there are the closest in skill level out of all the other groups.

Correct. They said they will stream every game, barring unexpected delays like internet outages. I'm pretty sure this puts them at #1 in terms of the the number of streamed games during a tournament.

was the same case with me during sc2 times, I actually play LoL because it's fun and it's good to finally have a second monitor and just put a stream/tournament on it while exploring the terrors of soloQ

They've been wrecking everyone in NA online tourneys. If they weren't in such a killer group this could be their chance to assert their dominance of the NA scene

Here's hoping M5 just picked this oddball comp to lure out bans for later games, thinking Crs.NA an easy opponent. Just imagine people now ban Ashe/Rengar against M5, and the russians pull out their "real" strats!

Honestly, Curse with Voy and Rhux is like a different team. Curse with Westrice and Ele would have probably got killed early by M5.

people will ban rengar anyway without this strat..rengar is a super strong pick. The damage he does to towers/being tanky/scales is just awesome.

doublelift shitting on aphromoo and muffinqt lol

No surprise, Aphromo is really overrated, DL is amazing with his mechanic.

EDIT:Fuk yeah, time for Ashe to shine, that arrow late game is just so scary.

It's a cait nunu vs kog lulu. who dafuq do you expect to win the lane?
And I don't think anyone on TL outright claims aphro is BETTER than Dlift. It's also a function of the pressure that a roaming gragas and a mobo boots cho exert. Just that he's up there in terms of NA ad carries. HJis popularity mostly comes from the fact that he's a cool guy, and plays champions that noone else plays (draven, twitch, varus, etc)

Who dafuq considers aphro a cool guy based on his stream? Most people I know watch his stream on mute just because he's that annoying. He has drawn it back a little, but he used to be annoying enough for me to sometimes mute it when it became too much.

I think the biggest problem isn't that Dlift is better, it's more that Aphro crumbles more under pressure. He never seems to perform his best in big tournaments, but always does well online tourneys/soloqueue.

Speak for yourself. Aphro's antics are beloved by many. Keep your generalized blanket statements out of the discussion.

I did speak for myself, and most of my mates/people I play the game with. It's the same generalized blanket statement to say Aphro is popular/"a cool guy" - Which is what I was arguing against/questioning.

I still think he's underperforming at big events.

Maybe everyone but CLG.Prime, who hasn't played in the TSM tourny since they won one a few weeks back. I think the only Bo3 set CLG.Prime has dropped in weeks is a weird one to Pulse.

naaah, not rly, clg.na still has better bot lane and voyboy is wild card at best and prime is used to hsgg feeding.

Haha, definitely. It's funny, the interviewer basically asked Alex if they have any hidden strats, and what they are...seems unlikely that he will answer that.

Definitely, I think the top 3 NA teams at the moment are CLGNA, Curse, and TSM in that order.
