I'm not huge fan of TSM but I think they have the best infrastructure to support a good NA team thanks to their site income. No joke though I think Chaox and Regi need to re evaluate their play or hit the bench. Scalp meat for Pobelter and Fear for Aphro or somethin. I'm not sure if Chaox should be replaced. He has his moments sometimes, and I think there's potential in him. Regi is a joke though, but he's been for a long time.

No joke though I think Chaox and Regi need to re evaluate their play or hit the bench. Scalp meat for Pobelter and Fear for Aphro or somethin. Chaox isn't incredible or anything but he's been solid for awhile. A few bad tournaments isn't grounds to bench him. Regi is the only one who consistently seems to under perform imo. TSM is one of my least favorite NA teams but I don't think they need to bench their players. Their strength has almost always been their team work and synergy. Sure, Regi or Chaox or Dyrus aren't stand out players who ooze amazing skill. But they play well together and TOO/Xpecial are really good at supporting those three. You can't just take one of them out, replace them with an all star player, and expect them to magically improve. Even if they replaced Regi with a really good AP carry if that carry doesn't synergize with how Chaox/Dyrus likes to play it'll just cause more problems than it'll fix.

Regi is a joke though, but he's been for a long time. Chaox is completely clueless about how to abuse a lead, and it's not like his teamfights are good enough to even be notable. Part of this might also have to do with xpecial being unpracticed at being aggressive with support. That's their entire problem, really, they epitomize what makes TSM weak -- passive, reactive play. Chaox got fed first blood then lost his lane to corki. In back to back cleanups in fights he gave up kills he had red buff/phage procs on for no reason (as they killed or had vision of everyone who could save). Chaox was fine back when the meta was aggression = bad, now he's horrid because when people lane swap, you can guarantee that TSM does not have the confidence, and maybe doesn't even have the ability, to force a kill and dive in a 2v1 lane. My problem is only partly to do with his overall performance in the recent tournaments. The vast majority of my problem is how he plays. He's the least carrying Carry player in the NA scene.

I feel like TPA probably gonna be the team that comes up from the losers bracket. I also think that Fnatic will very likely beat CLGna into losers. I wanna see WE take it against CLGeu. They need vengeance for their near-win five day series. Pretty sure WE should beat CLG.EU with ease this time around. They are looking far more on point than at the S2 WC (especially Clearlove is looking much better but also the whole team feels more cohesive) while CLG.EU look a little weaker if anything. Should be a 2-0 or at worst 2-1 victory from WE unless I'm seriously misjudging the strength of the two teams right now.

Hopefully their nerves are more stable than that, but no guarantees. Also, the discussion yesterday of where Chinese second-tier teams placed in relation to NA/EU is kind of hilarious looking at today's results. Pretty much any second-tier Chinese team has better results vs. Korean teams than TSM does, and TSM is still definitively one of the top 3-4 NA teams.

It requires lots of clicking, hiding and unhiding all those spoiler tags. Can't TL-LOL borrow a page from the liquipedia to have a little bracket? I'm surprised people actually read it since we've had so many questions asking things that were answered there already. But you're right, it is lacking something so I linked the brackets near the top of the OP.

Depends on what you think are tier 1 / tier 2 teams for NA / EU. I think TSM is a tier 2 team when taking NA / EU together. Course, NA LoL is just sad.
