Toyz: mechanically clean, good laning and teamfight execution; strong on defensive, mid-lategame teamfight oriented mids, weak on aggressive tempo-carrying mids
Misaya: mechanically sloppy at times, weaker at laning and teamfighting but very good gank sense, map movement, and control of the tempo; weak on defensive, mid-lategame teamfight oriented mids, strong on aggressive tempo-carrying mids
Toyz playing TF here is like the equivalent of Misaya's sloppy Orianna play at Worlds. Yea, Toyz picks made no sense to me. I'm not sure why they didn't pick up Karthus for Toyz and instead went for TF/Diana. Karthus into Kat/Bug would have been suicide I think. Second game not sure what pick/ban order was. Yea, Karthus G1 would've been suicide. But G2 they banned out Kat.

Ye but then xPeke picks up Diana and same thing happens? xPeke is real good on Kat/Diana/Kass etc.

Nobody picks it, but it would have been very powerful had they taken Karthus, and it's still one of xPeke's signature champs.

WE > Fnatic I can agree with that. Blaze has one tilt game against Fnatic and what? Fnatic won't beat any well-organised mid/late-game team. TPA isn't a well organized mid / late game team? How fast things change... TPA is strongest early/mid-game, courtesy of Lilballz. Always has been, since 2011. They lost early to mid versus M5, and came back mid/late. Stop saying bullshit pls. TPA is still strongest in early/mid-game, at least in comparison to teams like WE and Blaze. which are pretty even (with WE slightly favouring late-game and Blaze slightly favouring early-game). TPA fucked up in the mid-game against Fnatic, which actually wasn't all that rare before the World Championships especially when Lilballz starts derping in the skirmish stage. At WCs, their lanes actually played brilliantly, especially Toyz who played uncharacteristically well, outside of lane for once (except game 1 of the finals). WC TPA was a beast early/mid/late-game, but I guess I always saw that as a fluke somewhat and expected the normal TPA here.

I can't remember all the bans, but honestly I think for G2 they should've banned out Kat and Diana isntead of banning Kat and picking Diana. TPA were forced to fp Diana to keep it away from xPeke, which ended up backfiring since Toyz made some really stupid moves on Diana.
Regardless, I feel that TPA's losses both games were more attributed to the fact that they threw away their early game advantages and essentially fed Vayne. Both games Rekkles was hilariously behind in cs/exp, but due to TPA's bad decisions and Fnatic playing from behind very well, Rekkles was able to get really fed really fast.

At World Champs TPA also had the advantage of being able to play more in their comfort zone because teams didn't know what to ban against them. Now that they've been on the radar and teams are more aware of they want, it's harder for them to always have picks that perfectly fit their playstyle.
It's not exactly news that Toyz is awkward on tempo-carrying mids. It's just that at Worlds, that weakness was covered up by the fact that the defensive mids were strong, but at the same time often left in the pool.

Phreak when Teemo gets jungled with multiple Trinity Forces.

LOL Rekkles looks like a smug little prick. That pic of him with a UMAD caption would be too good.
