How is that overrating? The skill gap really isn't that big. Yes, TPA and Blaze are probably going to win more games but that doesn't mean that the NA teams can't have a good day and win. It's not BW.

As for TSM, it was just a year ago they were getting washed out of IEM's and everyone said they were a disaster. Then they got a manager and had a resurgence. Then they picked up Dyrus and lost their manager and everyone though they'd be terrible, but they got even better. Good enough that some people thought they would win it all at World's. But, the team is young and undisciplined and didn't practice effectively (and often times not at all for weeks). It is no surprise they are bad again. They may never recover from it this time, but they are capable of getting back there.

He has far more talent than elementz, but being an unknown only the more open minded of crs fans would look beyond his initial seemingly few differences will elementz to look at his greater skill objectively. I think he'll be recognized as a superior support in time but his lack of personality relatively speaking means it will take him some time to become a fan favorite. Yeah, personality is so important in gaining NA acceptance, just look at Maknoon. In addition to being really good everyone loves him because of his personality.

also I just read this on reddit but is it true that Reginal left the game yesterday against MP after he saw Pobelter pick Riven mid, with the excuse that he wants to buy a skin butmost likely just created a new runepage against bruiser mid? Dick move if it's true, since you can buy skins in champselect T.T On December 01 2012 04:04 Takkara wrote: Am I the only one that doesn't really care about NA vs EU vs KR vs CN vs others? Asians and Euros.

curse eu beating clg.na? Okay. I get what you're coming from, they're fairly unknown(by unknown i guess i mean inconsistent. wins easily tales of the lane then doesnt get from groupstage at dreamhack? lol.) and from what we've seen CLG na has disappointed while they played rather well. But beating TPA? lol. I'd definitely watch the fuck out of some fnatic vs CLG prime, though.

I actually think it's easier for weaker players to upset the stronger ones in BW. Much harder in a MOBA like this imo. Having said that it's not overrating to think NA teams might be able to take at least 1 game on a good day. Hell team Iceland gave CLG.EU a hard time yesterday. In the end it's still a competition and anything is possible (though not probable).

Iceland could have just as well beat CLG.eu and all that would mean is that they played better than them.

But at least their invade worked this time, they really banked a lot on that in game one and it didn't turn out too well.

Aphro (while a bit overrated) is rather obviously their best or at least better player, but they don't have a comp to take advantage of that. They have 3 diving champs (Jax/Olaf/Diana), and while Lulu can protect Ez and he's slippery, they're really kind of hoping that Aphro isn't going to get dived himself and die. This argument gets brought up all of the time, it's like the people what stopped watching the World Championships when all the teams they knew were eliminated. Some people lose interest if their favorite teams get eliminated (which happen to be NA teams) and thus don't like the foreign teams that dominate since they are directly responsible for making them not care about tournaments anymore. I know that's not everyone, but I see that sentiment a lot.
