I think LGD's team has been around longer. They've been participating in stuff for quite a while now unless they got a total roster swap.

IIRC someone told me that their captain is a personal friend of Xiao8 (who seems to know a lot of pro LoL players from having played while he was still on CCM).

EDIT: Yeah they have to have been around longer, because they qualified for the offline finals at NGF in April.

Also in terms of individual skill China outclasses NA for sure. Misaya and Zz1tai are easily better than any NA AP mids. Weixaxo is at least even to Doublelift in skill (and personally I think that Weixaxo is better). Both regions have shitty top laners but WE/iG's aren't too bad. I don't play enough support to really judge that role.

The only role that NA is likely better than CN teams is jungle and as the game exists for a long time Chinese junglers are going to improve since it's mostly an experience/knowledge role.

The captain is a personal friend of Xiao8's, but i believe all of the other 4 members were new and they reformed 2 months or so ago

Comparing Doublelift to Weixiao is an insult lol Weixiao is like the best AD carry in the world by faaaaaaaaaar.

And yes LGD has been around for a quite while. Shows some promise, but feels like they could benefit from some solid coaching. I don't think they have any real coaching right now. A lot of player shuffling but no real results yet.

I would also take ahq (former Corsair/SSWIE) from Taiwan over like any NA team. Albis, their AD, is super impressive imo.

They have a coach. They followed WE and CLC's example of making their shitty former junglers into coaches, lolol (Joker for WE, DGC for CLC, Ayaya for LGD).

All in all, IPL5 is off to a good start to win NA tournament of the year. Still three days to go + GSL + World Championship, so we'll see if they can keep it up. Only real problems were the flickering for like 5 minutes at the start of the day and Twitch dying at the end of the day that probably wasn't even their fault.

GOM + IGN make a good team.

I didn't know pros actually level E on MF. I always thought it was utterly useless and destroys your mana.

310 damage for 80 flat mana isn't exactly inefficient.

whats the point of maxing Q where the bounce doesnt 100% hit their teammates? E is much better since its AOE and slows the melee then they take free dmg before they reach you.
