CLG mentioned that they only slept 5 hours. Dignitas mentioned they only slept 5 hours. Where did one of them "whine"? The people "whining" were maybe the ones in this thread.

Supposedly CLG.NA vs DiG isn't starting until 1:45 cst. So if TSM loses as badly as I think they will maybe we will get that on stream after all.

everything under 8 hours of sleep affects performance. you can sustain workdays with 6 hours of sleep, but for a competetive event, this is not enough.

who are the casters for this game, i cant recognize from the voice.

Don't think they could run two games in under an hour.

Yellowpete We dropped 1-2 into losers bracket vs Dig yesterday in a match that went on until like... 2 am? I was pretty tired yesterday to start with, but only getting like 6 and a half hours of sleep is definitely not gonna improve that ^^
Oh well nothing to do about it, our next match is supposed to be at 10 am local time (in about an hour) against CLG.na, TD or Curse – admittedly, I don't even know which one. I doubt it's gonna be streamed since it is loser bracket. Wish us luck anyways!
from his facebook, add the time it takes to get to the hotel and until you finally sleep. proper ways to respond to the schedule are (1) that's the way it is, just be professional and do your best and (2) it shouldn't be that way, so when it's over, complain to MLG to get a schedule that will get the best performances out of all competitors in the future making a pussy message like that to your fans is stupid. we (sc2 players) did the same thing at first. it's a bad response. it just makes everyone look bad except it's not the first time these sort of problems happen. Last MLG FORCED players to start on time... while they were experiencing technical difficulties. Also I seem to recall multiple complaints (including from WhiteRa) where he was penalized for being late when he was informed of the wrong time. If the problem is one off thing then sure, players should take responsibility. When it happens as frequent as it does though, you have to start looking the other way. The other way isn't whining to your fans...

Edit: According to petes facebook 6.5 hours, that sounds somewhat reasonable... ...what? In what sport is that something responsible athletes do? Baseball games usually end by 10 or 11 PM local time and typically don't start until like 1 PM at the earliest. Basketball is the same deal but they start even later. American football only happens once a week lol. People in other sports have way more time in between games. Doesn't excuse them for being late but that's really shitty scheduling by MLG. Thats the point. Responsible athletes don't go to bed at 4 am (or claim to) and then whine about getting no sleep. They finish their shit, fall dead into bed, get up, shower, go to the venue. I'm just pointing at the holes in the whine. It wasn't their choice to go to sleep at 4 am.
They didn't. Pete said they slept anywhere between 6-7 hours (he said 6.5). Yet they whined about only sleeping 5 hours. It's silly really. And another reason the "real" sport metaphor sucks is that muscles have to regenerate which takes really long, even for the most genetically gifted athletes, while eSports-athletes "only" have to calm down their minds and shut out any external influences for a few hours - i.e. sleeping. In any way, six hours of sleep are - given a sufficent preparation (nutrition, exercises to calm yourself etc) - for a single occurence sufficient. Not like the SC players who had to do that for four days in the beginning

On to the game, really sick exhaust by xpecial. Maknoon was 1 auto away from killing Chaox but Xpecial exhausted at the perfect time.

I'm saying its worth going to sleep late if you beat clg.eu! less likely to complain if the lack of sleep comes from beating a top tier team.

a) Depends on the person. b) Can be trained. Military units, specifically the American infantry during the Iraq offensive and airforce pilots in general, get conditioned to function in high stress environment at peak performance with less than 3 hours of physical rest for a minimum of 3 days.

Real league pros train like the US military. Learn to fire rifles and march for miles. Then they learn to play LoL.
