Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.

Fair warning to all.

So uhh, how are they gonna do this? I'm sure a lot of people there only reserved their stay for the weekend. If this goes onto monday that would suck for them.

i don't think you understand how professional gaming scenes work

drama snowballing is worse than top lane

i'm not talking about how professional gaming works (obviously there's always drama), i'm talking about the thread in itself
i dont wanna see reddit behaviors on TL, it makes me sad

When you stir shit up, flies get really annoying. The fact that I'm in this thread to feed on the tears is the best proof. Anyway, the fact that The International went pretty much flawlessly just a month ago made things REALLY bad, expect it to keep boiling for quite some time. People come from all over the place to drop some notreallynice comments, Tl is different coz people get banned if they cross the line, not bcoz there is no such behavior

Like I said last night, either this is nothing and we're getting worked up over something that didn't happen, or it's something that every team started doing in some capacity by day 2.

Lo and behold, people start finding "evidence" for like every freaking team cheating overnight. If you look hard enough, you'll probably find it for the other teams too. People just tend to be more zealous about looking for evidence against teams they don't like because they want to get them DQed.

It's Riot's call. If their refs didn't see anything, then for all intents and purposes, nothing happened.

yeah the whole cheating thing is classic reddit witch hunting. people arn't useualy that worked up about things like that here. Things could have been a lot worse really and this will probably be the catalyst that gives us some new features so that this doesn't happen in the future. The crowd was fucking fantastic better then TI2 by far and I thought the venue was a lot cooler as well.

I mean it really sucks that the third day of the event tanked hard because of technical problems. Sc2 has had way worse problems and have had lagy games at more events then any of us can count. It was a free event and it had really great games the whole weekend and even day 3 had some epic long games from clg.eu that they managed to pull back the game from.

I'm still completely hyped for m5 vs TPA.

I'm like 90% sure that if you combed the videos for the NA/EU teams you'd find the same thing.

It's just that people don't want to find evidence against teams they like, so they turn a blind eye when it comes to them. They want damning evidence against the foreign teams they don't like that eliminated their favorite teams.

TSM is the only western team people have found evidence against because TSM has just as many anti-fans as they do fans.

It just shows that CLG were kinda winning that fight (if anyone had any doubts), having 3 people with red (aka almost dead/popped GA) on WE. However it still won't change anything.

It isn't nothing. This should be stickied. This is damning evidence.

Yes you are right. Now people are combing, other "evidences" have popped up. And while most people too lazy to search, more evidence will continue to turn up and has.

I don't see how Riot can acknowledge this. Their only plausible stand is to pretend nothing happened, else they can throw their entire tournament out of the window.

Ya, I dont think the post was witch hunt against any specific teams they dont like etc, its more of 50% or maybe more of this 2 mil tournament is cheating and how is riot going to justify this and continue on. In the end riot decided rotating platform + players being able to hear the fans is more important than booth to help the legitimacy of the tournament.

BTW, in that video above, the moment the DC happens some korean player jumps up and blatantly stares at the screen, wonder what gave him the idea to do that so quickly...owait, he'd been doing it all game herp derp.

Haha yeah, just saw that, freaking silly.

lol did u even see what the other guy said? It was WE not Koreans.
Goddamn how stupid can half of these racist bastards be.

Please respect a little, I did not care about the fact that he missed saying they were koreans because someone already corrected him. What I was pointing out is that the player of the far right for WE just instantly watched the screen, and that's funny, it has nothing to do with him being korean, chinese, or canadian.

You're an idiot by the way, calling people racist bastard for such little things. I don't understand all the nationalism coming from this tournament, the fact that I prefer CLG.EU over M5 doesn't mean I am racist toward russian, dumb.

What the fuck.

I was unsure of what team it was, so i said his nationality (or supposed one to my mind at the time)

I am not racist? Jesus lol.

I stated earlier that i quit the scene months ago (around the time rainman left TSM) when the (chinese? idk ffs! the asian teams) had only begun to start coming to the bigger tournaments (the only ones i watched) i think i saw one tournament with one team in and they got knocked out quickly by M5.
Useless wet fish.

Maybe not on TL, because TL has a little more respect (and was built around Korean Starcraft). But people are most definitely witchhunting elsewhere.

Suffice to say this is a disaster for Riot. Maybe we should move onto Dota2 and hope Valve would do a better job (at least get the freaking booth).

My ass that they cost 200,000 dollars.

This problem was also present in the NA regionals. I am pretty sure CLG stated that they could hear everything while playing (I believe them; the headphones don't really do much considering how loud the commentaries were - I was physically there at the regional). In this regard, the Asian teams are already at a disadvantage for not able to fully understand the English commentaries.

So? The same thing happens in every single sport. Hell even within the same country Catalans and Castilians turn a blind eye to their own sides behavior whenever it suits them. Just don't let it get to you.
