Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.
Fair warning to all. |

Did you just spell "quarter" like that? o_0

They should probably just move these games to the day of the final, and postpone the final to another day.

He's some guy from the WoW scene (which makes him flaming LoL all the more hilarious, just like 2gd) and he's now running the 2gd studio or something

I don't think they'd try to satellite it in to the motherland then stream it back out. Just makes more sense to stream it out from where you are.
yeah I know. just to warn ImHuko.

I didn't think so because the actual streaming platforms went down lol,but these games crash at oddly suspicious times I don't think it's that. It IS possible (technically you can try to DDoS just about anything), but it strikes me as unlikely given the other information we've heard about this.
When so much money is on the time, it's really worth the effort to do it. Imagine everyone who gambled online... if you bet that Saigon Joker is going to win the world championship and you DDoS everyone else.... the possibilities....
I know I am just exaggerating, but the point is still valid.
I really think Riot should call it a day and restart tomorrow.

I have no hope for the future.

If there is lan at tournaments only, then the players would have all their practice in an environment with lag, then suddenly switch to lagless only for the tournament games. This would basically fuck up all their combos, last hits and skillshots as the timings would be slightly different... If there is lan it also has to be available 24/7 to everyone so people can actually practice. Imagine trying to practice bw muta vs scourge micro but the only games you play with lan latency are the tournament ones.

Remember the satellite trucks MLG brought to their venues later on?
Yeah...

But I dunno. I don't know that you really make your plans for "well, we expect a catastrophic loss of Internet half a dozen times today."
That would be called a "contingency plan", Business 101

After almost 8 hours, it's 1-1 and many wards have died in the process.
