Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.

Fair warning to all.

Haha, so much trolling on the support players. I am really liking these short videos they are showing in between games. Very good production quality that is adding a lot to the whole event.

NA players get too much money from streaming.

when i've seen scrims streamed there isn't a huge drop in viewers or anything. at this point it's not about keeping strats secret. they need to grind out tons of scrims just to raise their level of play in general. that won't be giving anything away if they stream it. they can still work on some secret shit off stream too

Yeah I don't get why so many teams don't want to stream their scrims. What exactly was CLGna trying to hide by keeping their scrims secret? They did the same thing everyone expected them to do in this tournament, nothing special at all.

yup. and spending time watching opponent's streams in order to get a one-up on them for the next tournament is a very risky move. it takes up a lot of time that might be used for practice instead. and it's also a huge guessing game. the more you watch, the less of a guessing game it is, but then you're wasting so much time on researching just one team and it's still a guess in the end.

streaming scrims all day will get you better results than streaming solo queue all day, even if every team watched every minute of your stream.

Also if they worried about having their thought process analysed they can just mute comms post game or something where they can discuss the strat.

If ESPORT turns like real sport, expect team to hire some guys/girls that will analyse opponents for the team. They make a sum up video, etc.

But I agree with Liquid'Nony, watching streams and replays of opponents can be a double-edge weapon. Its either beneficial, or a huge waste of practice time

Also, where are you now Neo. How dare you laugh at me when I though SAJ is going to win against Dig .

NA regional equally convincing. Not that I think they will win, but just sayin Dig and Clg.NA looked just as bad.

three days is really enough time for most people. and your points really don't go together since TSM isn't playing them in asia haha

but i agree it's looking pretty grim for TSM.

Brackets:

Moscow 5 vs. Invictus Gaming
Taipei Assassins/World Elite vs. Najin Sword

Team Solomid vs. Azubu Frost
Taipei Assassins/World Elite vs. CLG.eu/Saigon Jokers

Oops, mixed up Sword and the 2nd place in this group.

I think the old manager of MTW Dota team basically did that. He would also be in the game with the players feeding them information to my knowledge.

Why are foreign teams always only saying "we fucked up, they didnt play well"
I mean they played better and it seems like more and more foreign teams tend to "fuck up" and koreans dont. They kinda maybe should just accept that they lost, because they played worse, not because they did bad things that they would never do.

Nice that Madlife & Gosu Pepper are getting the support props.

I'm a sucker for an underdog story and was incredibly entertained by the last game, so GO SAIGON JOKERS!

Respect ban for Archie's Ezreal.

isn't that the role of coaches? LoL teams have coaches right?
E-Sports is competitive video gaming with a spectator fan base. Do not take the word "Sports" literally.

You mean coaches?

TSM is better than CLG/Dig. But I don't expect them to do much against Frost. M5 and CLGeu are the only hopes of the non-Asian world.

Shame on you for doubting.

Nah just kidding, an Asian team gonna win it all. *coughFrostcough*

Curse does. TSM had a coach(more of a life coach really) briefly. The Koreans and Chinese do.

Probably, but some teams have assistants too I guess?

they are playing really well ... i wouldnt be surprised if they beat clg . eu here!

but in all reality im pretty indifferent, both of them have been pretty boring in terms of team comps and executions, so they prob not gonna bring any extra entertainment (at least in terms of play, maybe more DRAMA!)

they aint no iG

Actually, a lot of western LoL teams DON'T have coaches.

That's the weird thing

Respect ban for Archie's Ezreal.

Sorry but that is probably just incorrect Ezreal is just a standart ban and I was really really confused that it was open in the last 2 games aditionally Naijin got Ezreal/sona which is the best botlane ingame

Edit:
Actually, a lot of western LoL teams DON'T have coaches.

That really depends on the team I was for example in Millenium and they had a great coach/manager. Who also has a decent knowledge about the game (hes 2k elo in solo q) I would say most teams have managers how much idea/thinking they put into the game really really depends.
