It makes for exciting games and obv more games. Sometimes I think LoL viewers fanboy way too hard. Game 1 and 2, the losers were poorly prepared for the winner's strat. In a BoX series, it creates some excitement.
And if the last game in the series is a back and forth epic match then it will be perfect. Hopefully we get that here!

What happened to lee and GP in the competitive scene? Don't think i've seen either character picked/banned once this weekend, and I like watching them so much :\

To use a BW analogy. It's like when Jaedong v Flash OSL 2011 Finals when Jaedong manned up and decided to straight up 6-pool Flash, and then Flash decided to go BBS the next game. Sure, a macro slugfest is all fine and dandy. But sometimes you want to suddenly gasp and hold your breath waiting to see the mess that's about to unfold.

GP fell off with the atmog nerf. Lee fell off (competetively) because there are better farmers out there, and better lane campers.

What I mean is how decisive TSM won the first game and how decisive CLG won the second game. It really showcases how huge a factor initiative is. CLG looks way out-classed when it's TSM making the plays against them, but if you have CLG with a curveball strategy, TSM are the ones looking inferior as they try to deal with it.
It's something I felt with M5 and their plays. It's all about dictating tempo in LoL. The team with the tempo advantage forces the other team to respond to them and then you have a plan and they don't.
