Scarra is awesome tho. Yeah, I've spent over 100 hours in vent with scarra and he's a great guy. Funny, no temper, very smart. Great poster boy for what community members should be like.

I missed all the games except CLG vs Dignitas game 3... Such strange team comp. Are the rest of the games this exciting?

He also can't stick to your carry and kill them if he has to protect Kog'Maw by damaging the assassins jumping on him.
I suppose part of this may be kneejerk reaction to the fact that Mundo was considered awful for well over a year and is just now regaining popularity (and the fact that lack of hard cc and failed counterjungling attempts means he is shit in low Elo games like mine), but I just can't get behind the fact the fact that he is the only champion that can do this job and is the key to the teamcomp. Protect the Kog has been around before and I definitely see multiple ways of accomplishing the goal.

I watched on and off all day. Stream was lagging hardcore and (in the last couple of hours) started constantly restarting and thus playing commercials over and over and over.
It was nearly unwatchable...

His job is to kill the gap closer while absorbing everything.
He is not the key to all protect comps. He is just the key to this one because of his unique combination of damage utility and tank. Lulu sora stop burst. So they need someone who can kill and tank sustained. Mundo does this better than anyone. He covers the most glaring weakness. Hence he is the most important piece.

It was nearly unwatchable... I hear some people have the same problem. I also can't even open the stream on Chrome. Just switch to IE and go to twitch.tv then select the stream from there. Dont use the TL links!

Hi all.
Been away for the past 12 hours and missed the entire first day. Looks like there were a lot of good games. Just a request to people, if there were any interesting tidbits about IPL Day 1, please post them in the Pro scene thread. I will use some of your comments and notes for the April review. Thanks~ :3

I've never seen him be a douche on stream. At most he slightly trolls in non serious games or says random stuff like "please don't die my poor little ad carry" when he b's on stream to entertain viewers... :s
What does he do to show...er, doucheness?

I can see Udyr or Cho being played as a jungle disrupt/anti-carry tank for a hyper carry comp. I still stand by that the support picks are the most important ones for this comp. The tank and carry can feasibly be changed out with similar champs, but there's only a handful of support champs in which they need 3 to fill out their team.

VOD not 1080p? im dissapoint

Zionspartan best NA top. TSM did to V8 what M5 did to TSM. GP mediocre champ, don't know why hotshot picked him up over stronger tops.
|
HotshotGG too reliant on globals for his split pushing shenanigan . I personally think he should have just played Yorick or Trynd.

Thoroughly pleased with OddOne's play today. Actually farmed and made an impact during the later stages of the game.

Yup, was actually higher lvl than the support for once! Also, how the hell did dignitas win their third game? went to sleep because I thought they lost it.
