The whole point of having terms categorizing champions is so that it's useful when selecting champions. "Tank" doesn't do that. You'd never pick Shen when you need a Bruiser. Like even if you strip out bruisers/melee carries from the "tank" category, you can't classify Amumu/Malphite/Shen/etc. all in the same category because they don't perform the same role. Champs like Amumu/Malphite are initiators and champs like Shen are melee supports. But initiator doesn't cover everything either, you don't always need the tank to be the one initiating the fight. Lets take for example a team like: Ashe Annie Gangplank Nasus Sona Nasus is clearly the tank in this team, however he is not by any means the initiator. Tank is a fine term, I really don't understand how it could cause problems. AP carry, AD carry, support, etc all can confuse somebody who is new to the game as well but that doesn't mean we shouldn't use the terms. Games aren't meant to be understood the moment you start playing them. | ||

Who's casting? They seem to have a pretty good understanding of the game, especially what happens on the various servers, like they must be pretty high ELO on all of them? | ||
