I think the definitions of Brusier/Tank overlap a lot. Malph and Galio can both do good damage too. Not as much as Cho but still.

I'd classify Shen as a support.
TBH the 1-5 system for categorizing champions on the scale of hard carry->hard support used in DotA is probably more informative than some of these buzzwords that people use these days.

He is playing. He was commentating the third place match and that's what they were referring too.

He means for commentating, not playing. Elementz commentated the SK v EHOME matches, and now he has to play in the finals, so we're wondering if we'll get an SK player to commentate the finals.

Lol. Elementz was helping to cast the 3rd/4th place match. They are asking who will help Zenon cast since Elementz will be playing.

Because no champion's function is solely to take damage. They either provide defensive utility through CC/shields (e.g. Shen), damage/offensive utility (lots of people), or initiation. Which means it's probably easier to categorize them as bruisers/melee carries, initiators, and supports, rather than the ambiguous (and quite frankly pointless) catch-all term "tank". A champion whose kit is only good for taking damage is a bad champion.
You're basing your idea of a tank off of mmos, and since this isn't a pve game of course that idea doesn't work. In this game, a tank is somebody who is there to be unkillable unless focused extremely hard while also putting out a good amount of disruption.

Again, I don't see how trying to use a catch-all phrase "tank" is any more useful than using the appropriate specific terms for what they actually DO, which is acting either as initiators, melee carries/semicarries, or as supports.
