I would be shocked, personally, if Blizz released Hearthstone, Heroes, and then Overwatch, and then announces a new IP at Twitchcon. Don't see that happening. | ||

Oh come on. Even if they address the possibility of WC4 after LotV, no way in fucking hell they're announcing it this year. BW came out 98, WC3 came out 2003, WoL came out 2010. Even if they decide to make WC4, don't expect WC4 to be announced for another 2-3 years. | ||

Considering that microtransactions and more incentive to play are precisely what SC2 needs right now, I can't see how they could be bad (unless they're terribly implemented, but they've been doing a decent job with HS/Heroes so I can't see that happening). SURPRISE!!! etc... it will probably be purchasable skins It's not like they had a huge conference to announce the removal of RMAH. Those aren't "big surprises". And theres plenty of content in SC2's basegame and expansion pack. A 4th race is dumb, an extra expansion pack sounds meh and unlikely, it's gotta be an in-game feature or some type of post-launch support for SC2. Post launch support SC2 is what SC2 fans want, which is why we've had a sizeable portion of the community asking for it. Blizzard have direct incentive to improve and expand hots and hearthstone. If this is the last expansion pack, that direct incentive is gone, and we have to rely on the goodness of Blizzard's hearts. Some people wanted Blizzard to put skin in the future of the game instead of just moving onto the next game, in this era of F2P games it's hard to compete with that support since SC2 is a boxed copy game. | ||

I actually firmly believe that Blizzard will make SC3 before WC4, but I'm giving the best case scenario for a WC4 possibility. Realistically speaking, I don't think we're going to see a WC4 announced until maybe 2025 at the earliest if ever. | ||

They tell us LotV is gonna be released in 2015, which means the beta is gonna be over very soon (I mean there is still so much to do designwise, balancewise, etc.). But the surprise will be, that they will postpone the release for the sake of a polished Sc2! | ||
