I feel very nervous about that Annie buff. 625 is sooo much range. There has absolutely got to be something toxic and unholy that you can do when you combine 625 auto range and a point and click stun. My first thought is to build like on hit Kennan and do most of your damage with autos while still rocking those high base damages.

Was never much of a thing before.

Annie has a lot of upswing on her aa animation, and garbage base AS, plus no mobility/defense compared to Kennen. They aren't really comparable regarding these builds.

For example "Garen is too much a lane bully, a lot of this is because Q's high damage early and silence, not allowing much trades back, so we are reducing Q's late game damage" ....? Considering most Garens max Q first it is indeed a lane change.

I used to try it all the time, it just kinda stinks. If you laned Annie 1v1 vs. Kennen he'd probably do more Auto damage.

I feel like the Annie changes could bring her back into the support role

We're getting dangerously close to worlds and that Kass buff might just push him back into relevance. He's a fun champ to play and watch, but defs not a fun champ to play against considering he's one of the best "timer" champions in the game.
|
Quick Gameplay Thoughts: August 29The overall targets we're using for Worlds balance are: • An interesting and fun to watch experience is most important from a viewer perspective. • A diverse meta's good, but not as important as interesting matches (better low diversity and exciting games than high diversity and slow, uneventful play repeatedly) • No champions should be 100% pick/ban, or very close to it • No major disruption (minimal systemic changes especially, changes to individual champs especially are more appropriate) • While we're putting more attention into pro balance for the next couple of patches, ideally any changes made should be positive for regular play as well. If not they should at at minimum not be highly harmful to regular balance. That's the case in particular when it comes to buffing champs, with a fair number we believe could buff into pro play relevance but only by making them inappropriately strong for regular players. (More detailed info on champs like Akali or Tahm in the link)
Explains why they are buffing Kass, Fiora and Irelia. I guess they're aiming for a lot of mobility and flashy plays, hard to go wrong with that from viewer's perspective.

It is no surprise that LS decided to create all this martyr drama around him, but it disgusts me that Reddit and his sponsors (like Red Bull!) are treating this like some incredible miscarriage of justice.
The dude got banned for 24 hours for encouraging his stream to spam homophones of ethnic slurs, including "KILL ALL ____". This is the same guy that once wrote in a PM on gosugamers defending the neo-Nazi exvodsphoenix:
The hitler speech in his video, is a very deep meaning, its not mean't to be racist, facist, or even what you guys are taking it as, Hitler's story is a very controversial story, because whether or not anyone wants to accept it, he was one of the greatest minds in the history of the world, he also, wasn't racist, as much as he had terminal psychological issues. Hitler believed in power, and a perfect world. I think that is what exvodsphoenix, was trying to get across, the POWER behind hitler, not neccesarily what you all interpret it as.
Yeah, he's the real victim here.

I don't know anymore. Last time I remember him seeing a bit of play he felt like a desperation pick that had to snowball games, and wasn't actually that good lategame.

Well they certainly need some hype. People are shitting on Worlds all over the place for various production reasons.

American outrage over dumb shit is more disgusting tbh.

Ban seems deserved, I don't get why people try to ignore that things have context.

Because the correct context isn't given.
