edit: Looks like OGN is booted off league. Sometimes it sucks being right. Ruin KR too why don't you Riot. It's pretty crazy how insanely power hungry these North American developers are becoming. | ||

Working together with people to create a rich dynamic stable scene makes the most normal sense to me instead of forcing everyone out and being sole entity. The old BW ecosystem is a perfect example of different groups working together to create something magical. Pity the developer got power hungry after a decade of not caring about it. I guess in the twisted corporate logic of absolute control being far more important than delivering good product or added income. edit: Imagine how awesome it would have been to have something like old BW. We have Proleague(LCK) being the main long running league while there are more open cups that feed throughout the seasons with OGN/MSL. Could have had this system in NA too but nope BO1 franchised leagues are truly the pinnacle of enjoyment. Crazy how much I've started to enjoy Riots decision making on the game while still actively loathe their esports. | ||

I dont think it makes sense to describe companies with political terms like "power hungry" when it is pretty normal to not outsource things you can do yourself. Just like Riot does their video and music production in-house for example. Same with Blizzard of course. | ||
