I would say its less racist now (if it ever was), its basically a pop culture reference, not an original serious statement. Its sarcastic.

Well, it didn't help that people were calling Regi a monkey with racial undertones for a while before that. Even if Thorin wasn't meaning that racially, he stepped in somebody else's shit at the same time.
My first Nemesis game they gave us Ashe-Zyra. I was kinda confused.
Here's another team comp that was pretty dope. Double GA-like ults, with two AOE move speed buffs, Zilean MS buff, and a Blitz who's already speed racer. The synergy was real.
I don't think Thorin or hotshotgg were being intentionally super racist or something, but it's just a bad call to use an insult that has years of racist historical baggage

Yorick always cleared very well, but his ganks are just atrocious.
Can't even really dive like most of the other bad ganking junglers (ie Nunu, Shy, Mundo, Udyr).
That being said, I would probably play him jungle if they made it so his ultimate was more similar to Zileans where you didn't die if you got killed in it. Those would be pretty lethal ganks, yorick dgaf tower dives, lol.
