HAHAHAHAH PLEASE TELL ME THESE GUYS ARENT SERIOUS tldr mark twain is full of shit, dont listen to D1s they are trash the theory that bad people play weird is partly true, but its only half the story. all you have to do is change your play style, which any professional player should be able to do. when you play ladder you (imo) feel a pressure to make plays, a pressure to take a risk because if you dont your noob team will feed or suck and the game will eventually be lost. when you know for a fact you are laning against an idiot, you need to refuse this need to make plays. play ultra defensive, its not like they will punish you. take favorable trades but never push for kills, just let them derp in to your hands. anyone who says "bad people are harder to play against" without any qualification is wrong. what people who say that mean, is that they are mediocre, but they are also really stubborn, and that stubbornness is a bigger factor than their skill level so they lose to bad players. | ||

if you feel pressure you will just make more mistakes. assuming your team will feed or suck is a typical bad player assumption and it will lead to selfish play that will win less games than playing normally witth the team. Or overaggressive plays that go wrong and lead to blaming teammates for not playing perfectly to save you whether it was even possible let alone worth it. You simply play the lane the way you believe is right and then observe, if they make mistakes you capitalize, if they don't you just play normally. just like against any other player. The worse the players the more obvious mistakes they will make. I think krndaman posted in reddit and was like "I was plat 1 eve against bronze vi and assumed she was scared of me because she probably lolking'd me and then I got killed at my red and died". As a reason for why bronze people are hard to play against. No, it's just your shitty prejudices, that guy probably played against shitty junglers all the time and killed people at red because it was effective, why should you think everyone looks up people and holds anyone higher than thme in awe. I don't think I've ever lolking'd my lane opponent. Why should I? I learn everything that's important from playing against them, knowing if someone has X games and X win % on this champ doesn't help because I won't know how to exploit that until I play against them in which case I didn't need to see their stats in the first place. I played on someones smurf once and I think the first game I went in assuming they were all bad (~1500 elo I think) and tried to make ganks I wouldn't normally try and I got counterganked and generally did average and we lost the game. I then just proceeded to play normally if sometimes picking champs I don't play as much and I won 10 games in a row r something before stopping for good. There were noticeable things where people are much worse at finishing games and tend to never group up and get distracted and such, but this is usually easily countered by how easy it is to find kills on the other team and no matter what elo you are in teammates who get ahead tend to stay ahead. It's the same everywhere. If I were in TLIH and expected/felt pressured to carry every game easily I'd probably do pretty badly. I mean the other day on malphite and ramus I did pretty badly early game didn't really do anything but farm and then I slowly started accumulating successful kills/fights until we eventually won the games and I ended up being one of the biggest problems for them. In solo q I remember on Vi being like 8/0/3 and then suddenly trying to play more aggressive based on how good my score was instead of basing it on how good my items are like I normally do, and ending up throwing my advantage because my thought process was ("I'm carrying, I should "make plays" and stomp them) and not "I have X items so my champion is capable of doing Y much damage before risking death" or whatever. Also: 1: Taking a risk normally means risking getting ganked by a jungler, normally people treat this as some kind coin flip, but predicting when jungler is going to gank is a mixture of knowledge of timing and knowledge of the jungler. You need to get inside his head to predict when he might gank based on how your much information he has such as how aggressive you've been playing and how pushed is the lane etc. If he comes at some other time because he's "bad" then either it wasn't really a bad time, or it was a bad time and you don't lose much and he loses a lot of time. If you mean "making plays" as in a 1v1 thing, if you fuck up against a worse player it just means you're worse, unless you're taking a risk like risking death on your ability to hit 1 skillshot which is never a good idea. 2: I am like 99% sure sjokz is trolling assuming that team is actually some kind of legit team and not some showmatch. | ||

also not ganking is not a decision, ganking is a decision, deciding that there are no ganks means farming is the best choice whatever your champ is. The fact is there certainly were good ganks, but I didn't have the presence of mind to perceieve them in that particular time. I did make some ganks, but got counterganked a lot which neutralized my efforts while I'm still not much ahead on farm this is affected by your ganking compass. Some people are happy to sacrifice 2 camps to burn a summoner spell or something. Or if you are scip, you only gank when you are either going to bait your laner and feed to counterganks or tower, or else just steal all your farm. | ||
