so for this reason I assume the relegation spot belongs to the organization and they don't need the 3 players rule. I think it's so that a team that gets relegated can do exactly what VES has done. now if they make it back into LCS I think they'll have to keep at least 3 of their new players that they qualified with. that's my understanding, but it's all guesswork. | ||

It seems fine before the Promotional Tourney is played for mass-swaps as it means you're spot in LCS is still challenge-able, whereas if you've already secured a spot, the lineup that won you an LCS spot can't be massively overhauled. It's late, I'm confuzzled. In general, the ex-VES lineup was more or less unworkable. NK Inc and maple are the only two whom really performed; at this point, attempting to mash together a new lineup won't work, so adopting the ggLA lineup (whom I'm sure are no longer with ggLA) seems a better choice (as many semi-pros are already taken) under the VES banner works. But honestly, recent challenger scene news just makes me sad. Laute has to leave ( D: ) and Nydus/Otter no longer laning together (not sure reason why). After the nth chase over 2 screens then using his ult to dive even further from us, Vi started flaming Heimer for "doing no damage", "being useless", etc. to which I pointed out that it's pretty hard for him to get anything done when Vi chases so far he can't even reach her before we get counter-initiated upon and his turrets can only protect us from dives and leave Ziggs unscathed. In the end we got some fights where because the enemy team was ahead and trying to get our inhib tower Heimer could set up properly, and after a positioning mistake by Ziggs and me trying my best to juggle cc to prevent Amumu and Leona from engaging we won. Sivir stayed chill the whole game and Heimer was pretty relieved to have been able to get some stuff done by the end, so I was glad for him. Then it turned out Vi got Gold off that game, and was premade with Sivir who at that point claimed the account wasn't his. Why did the flamer have to get away with it because of his buddy? T_T TL;DR maybe I should have gate-kept myself, although my "Plat V" Elo has since been tanked to Gold II-III it seems. | ||

Like, I want the win, but at the same time I'm really upset that such a piece-of-trash human is getting what they want on my team, too. Worst part is when you can see the win coming after a long game, and you're just like, "we don't deserve this. Well, this terrible, toxic duo-queue doesn't." Oh, the first-world inner conflict. My last game, about 30 minutes before Ranked was disabled, was my winning promotion game to Silver! Feels good, although I think I should've been aiming for Gold on my main account over the last month rather than getting Silver on a second. It's just a little refreshing being able to do things over; my real-life-friends account got really close to 30 finally, so I just put my nose to the grindstone for IP, got some runes and champs, then played some Ranked on it. That's two fresh placement series in Season 4, though! Fun times. | ||
