They really should just copy paste some of the chinese art into the NA servers. Well the Chinese art wouldn't work with all that fancy shurima desert stuff flying around atm.

Chinese Malphite made me sad for so long because I'd think it's Brand and then nope. And while I appreciate the art style on Officer Vi's splash, I don't think it suits her so I don't like the splash, but they're diversifying their stuff.
In order I'd say I prefer current Sivir > Chinese Sivir > Shurima Sivir, but the pose has a lot to do with it. Sure current Sivir's is less logical, but it does a better job at giving that "momentum" vibe to most people (based on how you guys had to explain us how it's accurate if exaggerated), and it's less outrageous than both others when it comes to cleavage and stuff (I mean, it's not that revealing poses and outfit can't be good, but I find it annoying when it's so blatant). I like Chinese Sivir's splash for the bunch of weapons around her and the "prouder" pose. Less warrior, more reminder that she's a strong and successful mercenary, with a bunch of experience and money to back her words.
I'll agree that Shurima Sivir's art is definitely high quality in a vacuum though, it's just there's not only that.

It certainly looks better than her old one. Meh, I've disliked a bunch of the chinese splashes, but they've spammed them at some point. T_T

Well yes, but can she uppercut creeps on a regular basis? I thought not. Blob wins!
(Though she does have a mini-uppercut sometimes... its not as graphically interesting though).

More like everybody in the thread thinks it's cool to shit on Riot about everything regardless of what it is, really. I think the splash art looks fine. I'm interested in seeing what's going on with all this Shurima stuff they're obviously working towards. Last time I posted a splash art (Officer Vi) I was psyched about it and everyone shit all over it. TL LoL GD has made me bitter. Cause she has a dislocated hip/knee/ankle/leg, it's painful just to look at. And my call to arms about it made clear I thought the artist was beyond capable it was just a silly mistake that someone at riot should've seen & corrected. Sivir's new pose is a bit 'silly' perhaps, like why her right leg is in a full tuck (that's not how the rotating sidearm throw would work), but there's nothing in that screams "WHY DOES AKALI HAVE 2 KNEES?!?" etc. People have opinions about what they like artistically, (and gameplaywise too) there's no reason to just dump it all into a "thoughtless bitter haters" pile just because you disagree.

I think the new Sivir is miles better than the old Sivir. It's also better than the Chinese art because its trying to capture the action with incidental boobs, whereas the Chinese art is just all about boobs. Without that much fanservice the Chinese art would be pretty much the same as the current Sivir art.

As an artist, I can tell you that the leg is extended more than it should. Like if he had brought it closer to the bike a bit (like her foot is on the orange lights on the ground) it'd look like she had extended it to it's full length, but not dislocated her femur from her hip bone.
But as for correcting/seeing the mistake (usually these things go through an art director for final approval before getting thrown up online) it's a such a minor mistake that I can see why it was missed. I tend to miss these types of small mistakes on an art piece I'd spent dozens of hours working on, as we tend to tunnel vision on the piece as a whole and 'see' it with "tired eyes." I bet that now that the artist has had a week or two to focus on other stuff and come back to look at this one he sees the leg issue and can fix it, along with a couple other problems we haven't noticed.

1-1 in promotion series for Gold.
Pray for me GD!

damn blademistress looks BADASS

Tbh I prefer the original Morgana splash to the current one. But I guess when it comes to fitting the character she's more angry and ragey than bewitching and confident. Also her hips are normal in the current one.

Apdo's main account was banned for 1,000 years.
He's only banned competitively for two years until end 2014/start of 2015. I believe he's already stated that he's going to spend the next year living it up as a solo queue god and making money that way, then go to the army the year after, so he should return around 2016 to the pro scene before getting caught for ELO boosting again and banned forever from the pro scene.

Until some douchebag time traveler brings Apdo back from the past just so that he can play past his 1000 year ban.

Apparently I'm Q'd with Trick2g.

Hey guys, my name is dzony and I have been lurking the TL LoL forum for about 6 months. I never participated in the discussion, because I don't like to post unless I feel that I have some really new insight to offer. Now I decided that it's time to break that rule and give something back to the community.
I'm a dirt level player, but I believe that I have some knowledge that could be useful to at least some members of the forum and can't be found here already. To be specific, I could write for you a new Fiddlesticks guide. The currently existing one is not very extensive and partly outdated. Would anyone be interested in this? To judge whether I have any idea about playing the champion, you can check my lolking: http://www.lolking.net/summoner/eune/33748221
