What do you guys think as Alistar as a support? He's been pretty rare lately, but I've been thinking he's actually quite strong. Any thoughts? | ||

The only possible rune set you may want would be GP10 yellows, but highly, highly situational. Maybe hybrid penetration? That's the only other thing I can think of. Kinie: Already has AD Reds (at least, I assume flat damage is that). | ||

I'm not saying Leona is bad, but they have different roles. I'd never pick Ali for a lane that I don't want to all-in, because he's weak to being poked down. His heal is VERY mana intensive if you're leveling it up first. If he's using his headbutt defensively he's not accomplishing much for his lane besides not dying/his laner not dying. I think he's much worse at all-inning than Leona, and he's not great at much else that'd make me pick him. | ||

I'm not saying Leona is bad, but they have different roles. ye that 3 sec cd stun late game, 1000+ range initiation and highest tank stats are such 1 trick pony abilities, leona can only win with all ins! leonas strongest point in my book is that you arent under any pressure at all to win your lane, as long as you dont lose your duo will be more relevant than theirs. | ||

Then again the look update happened when I got into mid-gold, and before that I'm pretty sure the last one I saw was in bronze, so it could just be that the people I'm playing with are better (for the most part*, but if I want to go into details there's a different thread for that). | ||
