And saying that Jayce has been killed would be like saying that raising Void Spikes cooldown on pre-change Kha'Zix from 8 to 12 would have killed him, or that making Zhonya more expensive would be killing Lissandra (or same with Deathcap and Karthus). Jayce still hits like a truck, you just need to adjust your build if you want to keep his powerspike at the same timing, or to accept that you'll be in that "I don't take half your health in one QE so I'll just use it once or twice more" zone for a bit longer before you become godlike. Obviously since timings can be pretty important (and I don't really trust pros when it comes to discovering something underused, or learning to make up for a nerf*) it has an impact professionally if you hoped to keep playing Jayce in the same obscenely overpowered way you did before, but Jayce? Killed? He's still a monster. * like most of the pro teams dropping Zac altogether, not to replace him with something better (some did it with Aatrox, but the combo of the 2 was already something Gambit, for example, used to great effect), but just because he was nerfed and not an autowin anymore. Surprise, when some of them stick with him he proves to actually still be relevant and powerful. | ||
