Usually when Fomos/OSEN/DES etc start posting things as "rumors", it's things that are 99% confirmed or pretty much confirmed. The real rumors are the stuff that's only on forums and such, but things that make it as articles are pretty reliable.
On another note, its amusing cause a lot of ESF SC2 teams went into making teams when SC2 first started in hopes of selling their teams to KeSPA teams later. Nice to see MVP finally making that dream come true.

Hmmm, got any source for this or is it just your own speculation?

Let me just state for the record that I'm slightly skeptical this is in the teams best interests. They will suck what the soul out of it and trade it in for app sales ;p Ummm. Samsung has been sponsoring WCG for 13 years. How many WCG's have been mobile focused? That's right, 0.
Clearly haven't been paying attention to WCG the last few years.

Cool. Would be a good move.

a lot of dough? If MC could singlehandedly match the offer, i don't think it can qualify as a lot of dough.

Samsung is literally going to buy their way there.
I can respect that.

if Khan is buying the MVP sc2 squad, they should also try to get Nakseo out of retirement and make sure to keep Super, he's their best player now.

Remember from WCG accidents that Samsung is not very friend with Blizzard. I hope sc2 MVP team will get support from them as well, but I doubt it.

Find me a WCG main event where the major PC titles aren't there and aren't the main attraction.

WCG has mobile games BUT NOT as focused as what you think. Being a WCG follower since day 1, I DONT AGREE on the idea/statement that... "...WCG had been mobile focused." There were NO such thing. Of course WCG will put mobile games because WCG is about gaming on ALL platforms
WTF on this.... "They will suck what the soul out of it and trade it in for app sales."

The whole 'WCG went mobile' was a leaked internal email and even if that email was true, it never actually happened other than promotional titles. But you know, most people just listen to eSports shows and don't actually watch the events so don't know. The last WCG wasn't that bad of an event even.

If Samsung cares about SC2 that is. oh but nobody watches sc2 (relative to lol)

Interestingly enough, people dont appreciate what SAMSUNG has done for ESPORTS.... TL NETIZENS dislike WCG which I think is AN INSULT to SAMSUNG's effort.

Well iG reportedly bought CCM for $6m.
iG has unlimited funds though. With iG, it's not really 'business'. At many events the Dota team doesn't even wear their gear.

Is 500k that much esports money though? Usually money is a hush hush dealio in esports.

Why doesn't Samsung just sponsor MVP ...?

Can you please stop randomly typing in caps, it hurts my eyes. We can read what you're trying to say fine without you basically screaming every other word or sentence.
