Seems like a 1 year salary per player being paid straight up (according to rough ballpark figures from Chobra's grilled) solely for the transfer. Should be a very good deal for Samsung with big ROI. 500k upfront to MVP + 2013 salary for the players after purchase. This could easily cost Samsung close to 1 million dollars.

I'm surprised you can buy a top LoL team for 500k in Korea, at least if you compare it to Dota trades in China.

well if this happens, never again will anyone look down on teams like KT or SKT for their high level player buys.

So LOL koreans aren´t faceless koreans? haha just kidding. The interesting point of this news is that it leaves more "?????" in the air. Because, what will be done about the SC2 squads? Who knows.

as has been said, this is big $ in esports but tiny money for samsung the organization. given how big league is in korea and now the world, not surprising esp in contrast with the salaries that they once paid their big BW stars

Hopefully the SC2 squad gets bought out too freeing up the founders of MVP starts new teams =p
Need more activity in the scene!

Samsung is literally going to buy their way there.
I can respect that.
Of course you can, you are a KT fan after all

I guess I would like it more if they have a separate team, Khan and MVP for SC2

What if the MVP coaches believe so much in their future, their teams, and their fan loyalty that they will stare Samsung's check books in the face, say that they're too prideful to sell, and turn down the $500,000?
Would you like to bet on that? with my life... they WILL accept SAMSUNG's terms...

Wow, this is awesome. Hope they buy SC2 team as well.
